Motel 6 Escondido, CA

This is in a terrible location with a large homeless population and a lot of drug usage. The door didn’t fully seal closed, the room was dirty, the beds were terrible, but mostly we just did not feel safe or feel that our vehicle was safe while parked overnight. Do NOT bring your family here.

It was dirty stains all over the blanket people doing drugs outside the AC barely worked. Everything looks like it’s from the 90s and the fact that you gotta pay so much money for a low budget. Nasty place is not cool. I just know I would not say ever again. There was cockroaches all kinds of things. It was nasty.

figured out a solution. My room is cleaned daily & linens replaced. Great job housekeepers!

Nothing, there was human feisty on outside walls It was dirty, there was hair on clean towels, old hair dye on walls in the bathroom, there was hair in the bathroom upon arrival, there was someone living in their car in the parking lot, room overall was not clean upon arrival

Elevator needs serviced. It took more than 5 minutes for me the other day to go from the third floor to the first floor. I was in panic mode the entire time afraid if was going to stop between floors. Would my work believe it if I was late for work? I take the stairs 100% of the time now!

I’ve stayed at the same location for 3 years. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The price was higher than expected.

Clean remodeled rooms with air conditioning important this time of year in Escondido. Friendly staff that is informative. Ample parking with lots of parking lot lights for safety.

What amenities? Too expensive.

Location isn’t bad The room is much smaller than appears in the pictures, needs cleaned better, and needs a few updates. It could also use an exterminator…

Nothing I didn't stay there canceled my reservation because they had no pool even though they advertised a pool and did not receive a refund. I don't like the way that booking.com can have advertise amenities and after you pay for the reservation then you find out they don't have the amenities that's kind of like bait and switch I would not use booking.com if I was you you can't trust them they're selling stuff that they don't have and then you can't get a refund they offer me some pocket change for a refund this could happen to anybody at any time. I'm going to make it a point to tell everybody that you can't trust any of the properties or booking.com because they don't stand behind what they're trying to sell I'm going to make it a point to spread the word to as many people as I can and put it on my social media Facebook page and have all of my friends like it so it gets bread to all of their friends also thank you booking.com for letting me put the bad word out on you guys to everybody that I can as much as I can you guys should have refunded my money that's bait and switch. And then you have the balls to ask me to fill out a survey about the facility.

Convenience Peace

I liked that there was parking near by There seemed to be many homeless looking men or Vets living at the facility. It was very uncomfortable for me as a single woman. Maybe they should put their live in guests in one area.
