Started off great with quick responses and very helpful. Once we arrived we had room issues and tried for several hours to get staff to speak with us and were unsuccessful. Ended up leaving and not staying the night. Still haven’t had them contact us.

We loved it!!

No one was available on the property for anything needed. No one answered the phone when we called. The tub had hair in it. The bathroom window did not work to vent. The AC never got completely cool at night. Very disappointed and won’t recommend

The stay was awesome. Loved the room and the staff were very helpful. Only thing is Expedia site stated there was an outdoor pool which is why we booked this particular stay and there was no pool.
-
Quiet and nice creek side area. Pool was closed.

We left the location next to the river! The cabins were cute and we really liked the restaurant on site and was only a little over a 1 mile drive to downtown Estes Park. Would definitely stay there again!

The check in process was not good, they have lock boxes at each door to enter your room, i was sent a note ( I suppose with the room number) that I could not open the attachment. The office was not manned & after several attempts a staff member came out of the locked office to help us. The rooms were clean, the pool was covered & the outdoor trash cans were overflowing.

The room was a nice size and very clean. Our only complaint was the door. You could see daylight under it. Otherwise, the amenities and having Wapiti Grill right there was very good!

The room we were in was clean and mountain rustic, which I liked. There are no staff as it is all through email conversations. It worked out well after we figured out which building we were in.Beautiful creek runs through the property with a good bar and restaurant on same property. I would stay again, but if you like to talk to somebody on site may not be place for you.

We stayed in a classic rustic room: decent, nothing wrong but also nothing exceptional. No pool. The close restaurant is a plus.

The property is self check in. The host gives detailed instructions. (It’s not difficult even if you don’t read the instructions). They do ask you to take the trash from your room to the trash room when you leave which wasn’t a big deal. If it helps keep costs down I don’t mind. The room was clean. The mattress seemed a little worn.

The resturaunt/bar was great! The bar tender was awesome and food was delicious. The pool was out of order, I didnt see a play area for the kids, the shed that was suppossed to have fun things had all sleds a few footballs and mini golf clubs. But there was only 1 putting green and it is so small. Our feet were black from the floors. But we loved the style of the rooms. Parking was rough though because we were on the ground floor and the 2nd floor people parked in our assigned area. So I had to park up the hill around back which made unloading and loading difficult. Our biggest disappointment was the swimming pool. We chose nickys for this because of my kids. I feel like we should have been notified that the pool was not accessable.
-
cons: the sheets/towels had like a old/musty smell, even after we got clean ones. the patio was missing 2 safety boards so we used chairs to keep the kids safe. no cleaning spray was available to clean up counters.

Would stay again.

Clean room, older resort which has been remodeled. No front desk, so so no staff. Interact via texts which worked well. Nice restaurant next door. Located away from the traffic of downtown.

We stayed in Cabin 1 (Bear Mountain), and I wish I had paid closer attention to the negative reviews before booking. The cabin itself looked cute outside, however, many issues became clear within a short amount of time. The first issue was that, although it was advertised as having central air, it only had 2 very small, very ineffective wall units in each bedroom. The temperature hovered around 82 even with both wall units running all of the time. Much of the time the air from the wall units wasn't cold and was more like just a fan. The wall unit in one room sounded like there was gravel popping around in it when it was running, and in the other room the fan would make a loud clunking noise. Also, when we tried to contact two different phone numbers given to us for issues, both numbers wouldn't connect. Finally, the pool was closed and after reading other recent reviews, it appears that it has been closed for a good part of the summer, yet there was no notification ahead of time about this, and was a huge disappointment to our kids. They offered us a $50 refund for it, but we will see if they keep their word as other reviews have mentioned never receiving promises refunds. For spending $300 per night for this, it was disappointing and frustrating.

The property is located next to a good restaurant and by the river so that was great … the cabin was clean - rustic but good enough to crash at night

This hotel met our needs perfectly. Great location, nice outdoor area right on the Fall River, ice machine, clean room, AC, fridge/freezer, Keurig, microwave. Bed was comfortable. It is a very basic hotel, no frills but it was perfect for us. There is no one on site, but we didn’t need anything so I can’t speak to that, retrieving the keys was easy(instructions and code worked fine). Would stay again
