Air conditioner in the room did not work, besides the heater was working and making the room hoter
-
Excellent facility, I would stay again.

Great stay! Nice location and the place was just perfect.

The resort is conveniently located very close to the park. The staff were extremely helpful and promptly resolved an issue with the carbon monoxide detector. The room was clean, and the checkout process was quick and straightforward.

The room never got cold from the small AC it had. The bathroom had either mold or mildew on the ceiling. There were also surge protectors used in the room. Other than that the room and place was as described. Just wish it would have been cleaned better.

We had the most restful nights sleep, with the windows open and the sound of the river. This was our 2nd stay at Nicky's and we will stay there again.

Hi! It was upsetting that the pool is closed for the entire season and there was NO communication to us about that. It's not even on the website. It really is unacceptable that we were not notified. I did appreciate that when I called, I was able to talk to staff immediately. A full refund was offered, but at that time, our friends had already moved to a different location and we were able to accompany them as guests at their pool. It is NOT difficult to include a banner on a website stating that the pool is closed, and to let people know when they reserve a room or cabin. We were surprised and very disappointed. On the flip side, the location is fantastic and the flowers are beautiful. The mattress needs replaced, but the furniture is fine, and the mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker were helpful.

We stayed for multiple days and found the area quiet despite a popular restaurant nearby. The room was very clean but some flaws in the flooring and a gap beneath the door was a bit worrisome. Parking was very convenient. There is seating by the river but the room balcony basically overlooks the parking and restaurant. BTW, the restaurant is one of our favs! You can walk to it easily. The tv, ac and water pressure in the shower was fantastic!

The location was great. The pool was covered and looked like is hadn't been open for a while. My kids were disappointed.

The interior of the cabin does not look as nice as in the photos and is much more dated. The bathroom sink was 90% clogged, we had to make a mini whirlpool in the sink just for it to drain. Worst of all, we picked this property for the pool and the pool was closed and under maintenance. When we tried to get a discount for this inconsistency the reply was "Thank you for your stay, please come again."

We loved our stay at Nicky’s. We were visiting to go hiking, and explore the Rocky’s. Nicky’s is very close to the RMNP entrances. Our hotel room was clean, a good size and the bed was comfortable. It had everything we need. The AC works and we were kept cool and comfortable the entire night. Getting the key was easy with the instructions and it was a quiet mountain lodge. If you’re expecting a luxury four seasons, this isn’t it. It’s a lodge in the mountains, with character and charm and beautiful views!! We had a great time and would definitely come back.

It was convenient to get to places The pool was not working and we didn’t know it when we got there.

Really cute cabin. The location. The restaurant. All very nice.

Don’t stay here if you have kids. Their pool, broken. Their location, falling apart. I asked for $60 compensation back since we had to buy community rec passes to swim. Spoke with one of the managers. Sent a message about the situation. They’ve ignored. Not only the broken pool, everything else on the site and cabin we stayed in was broken or falling apart. The only positive was the onsite staff were kind and as helpful as they could be given that the owners/managers don’t care about their business. Hard pass look somewhere else. I travel all the time and never leave bad reviews it this place upset me enough to do so.

Either mounted the headboard to wall or change it out slams the wall while sleeping. Fix the gap under front door to much cold air comes in. Flooring is buckled in places

Ok but suite rustic

Its clean quiet and friendly Aircons could be better

Everywhere in Colorado seems to only have window AC units. They’re not as functional and it gets hot. The shower was also so intense that even with the curtain drawn water squirted out everywhere.

We loved the grounds and sitting in the back with the water flowing. Very peaceful. The room appeared clean but the floor was so nasty. I could not walk on the floor without shoes because my feet was so black. I actually went and purchased a broom and swifter mop. I used the whole box of swifter pads to clean that little room. The mattresses are very outdated and need to be replaced. The springs were in our backs all night.

The pictures are very misleading. Our room was not the cleanest. The floors left our feet black, the bathroom had mold on the ceiling, duct tape on the bottom of the tub, there was hair in all the corners of the room, the window ac wasn’t working. It just was not the greatest sadly.
