Loved Crags! Would stay again. Only downside is that there isn’t AC and we stayed on some hot nights. Portable AC units would change everything. Would stay again though! Beautiful views and property. Staff was amazing and property was in great condition.

We loved everything about our stay at Crags. It is definitely an old, historic inn and the owners have kept it's original charm. You wouldn't love it if you need fancy and new, but the history and the old charm and warmth of this place was exactly what what we loved about it. It just feels good to be there. The rooms and furniture are older but super clean and the beds are comfy. As hikers, we appreciated having a kitchen and a living room space. The dining room is beautiful withthe original floor-to-ceiling windows and offers light continental breakfast. Lots of games, a piano, pool table, and fireplace. The pool and jacuzzi were beautiful and perfectly situated to watch the sunset and maybe catch an elk walking by. Outdoors there's a fire pit, giant Jenga and corn hole. Plenty to enjoy there. The staff was lovely and helpful in every way. Great location up the hill overlooking Estes Park with an easy drive to RMNP. We look forward to going back!

This was a beautiful property and the manager was world-class in the way he treated us. Er had a one-bedroom suite with a living area. The views were amazing too. Highly recommended!

Don't let the age of this property scare you away. This is a very nice place to stay. They didn't have their liquor license when we stayed but were scheduled to pick this up on Monday, 06-29-26. Talked to the very nice manager, and he informed us this company bought this in April of 2026 and they replaced all the TV's in all the rooms, the lobby furniture, some of the carpet. We will be staying here again.

For an older property in transition the hotel was incredibly clean. The staff was very helpful with local recommendations. Adjacency to Rocky Mountain NP was great.
-
Beautiful historic hotel with a very friendly and helpful staff. Perfect location for RMNP and a stunning view. It got a little warm with no AC but that seems to be typical for the area. Will definitely be back.

The view from the hot tub was incredible.

We enjoyed our stay at the Crags lodge. It was very clean, peaceful and quiet and the staff were so helpful and friendly. The only amenity that was not available was the restaurant, which had just closed a week or so before our arrival. We would stay again!
