Executive Motel

I was in Eugene during college graduation week and there were NO hotels or rental cars available so I stayed where I could. I've traveled in the third world and this hotel felt like the third world - nobody at the front desk, just a barred window and a handwritten sign to buzz the doorbell, ancient room and a bathroom I hesitated to shower in - few amenities, old creaky bed with old blankets and thrift store furniture. I think there are people living here in the other rooms, it seemed more like a cheap residence apartment building. I suppose at least having a bed was better than not having a bed, but I would never stay here again if I could help it.

Old wore out building. No phone in the room. No coffee pot either. And no coffee at the office.

Sheets and bedding wasn’t change. It was smelly

Without electricity, the room became unbearably hot, and we barely slept. We tried opening the window for air, but it had no screen, so we didn’t feel safe leaving it open. The next morning, I called the front desk and was told we were the only room without power because our breaker had tripped, and that staff had only not been available from 2:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. That was simply not true. Even Hotels.com was unable to reach anyone at the motel when they called on our behalf. I requested a partial refund because our second night was unacceptable, but it was denied. Based on this experience, I would not stay here again.

The lady who runs the place is nice. After my first night I requested new towels and she got them for me right away. I had no issues with the staff or other guests during my stay. The room smelled like someone was living there, and didn't smell clean at all. The bedsheets felt dingey and I don't trust blankets that are colorful (hard to tell if they're clean), so I opted to use my own blankets. The bottom mattress was exposed and stained. I didn't trust the floors, so I made sure to wear my slippers at all times. There is no breakfast, despite what their own website claims. The WIFI was very finicky. This I somewhat expected. I had hoped that the room would have a ethernet outlet, but I made do with the WIFI. The bathroom towels were dirty and had ashy grey stains that smelled strongly of cigarettes. There were only two body towels and a floor mat. No hand towels, no wash cloths. I thought this was weird because the pictures I saw showed a full towel set in the bathroom. The shower curtain rod fell on me. It was bent in the middle and thus was very loose when both ends were in the holders. The shower curtain was missing the liner. The hot water was finicky. I realized the second day that I needed to run it for a bit in the tub before having it go through the shower head to get the hot water going. My last morning, though, I had no hot water at all. The bathroom has a large solid surface countertop with a big crack on the front facing piece below the front edge, and the front left corner of the countertop was hanging down. It was as if someone sat on the left side of the countertop and it cracked and gave way. This is a genuine hazard that should be addressed by the management/owner. Lastly, on my final night, I was woken up at about 3:45AM by my room phone ringing. I answered and heard nothing. No idea why that happened--automated wake-up call assigned to the wrong room? Overall the room is very run down and everything could use some upgrades and repairs.

It was not in good shape. The floor was gross. There was a mysterious black stain, looked like spray paint on the bed frame. The blankets had mascara and stains on it It smelled like drugs or something.

No hair dryer. Sketchy neighborhood. No daily maid service or towel refresh.

Only place we could get 4 rooms. The rooms were supposed to be non smoking. All 4 rooms smelled like stale smoke. The in wall AC vents smelled like mold when running. The whole hotel needs updates. Floor peeling, furniture from the 1970’s and in bad shape and the bed spread was so old all of them had holes in them. We will not stay there again.

Location No coffee maker; floors were old, worn and dirty; A/C didn’t work; no ice machine; towels were clean but were worn and had stains; only one pillow; pillow cases on extra pillows didn’t appear clean. Generally speaking, an old and fairly run down facility.

Room was pretty clean and all the appliances were pretty good quality and they worked. The sheets were stained.

Yikes!!

It was a terrible location full of addicts and it was unsafe. Even having a police blockade one day.we got bed bugs and lice during our stay and no recognition for the hazard or reimbursement. There was blood spatter on the premises and rats along side the pests. It was not clean and was still 100 a night. Awful stay

Bed was very cheep and uncomfortable, lots of homeless traffic
