Candlewick Inn

Super convenient to what we were doing and where we were going. Room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Owner and staff were friendly and accommodating. Like nearly every other place in town, renovations were taking place, but we were unaffected and barely noticed.

None of the pictures of the place are accurate to what the reality is, and the pool is padlocked so we couldn’t even use it. Love eureka springs though, it was worth it

Honestly you get what you paid for. We had a negative experience mainly due to the fact that we were locked out of our room. When we sought assistance they were unable to help us and gave us a second room however our stuff was already inside our previous room. Also the second room was smoker friendly and had carpet which the room we had reserved did not. Thankfully my husband insisted and managed to get our room to open while I was getting our little one to bed. I immediately got him ready and we went back to our room.

The property exterior is in disrepair and is offputting. The pool is a disgusting mess. It would have been nice to have been alerted to this; especially during the heat wave. The interior of the room is clean and comfortable. Housekeeping did a wonderful job. Customer service via a phone call was excellent and accommodating. No human interaction and no one is on property if that matters to you. Parking was tight. I would not recommend based on the exterior and lack of pool.

Our room was great, clean, comfortable bed and quiet. Disappointed that the pool was green and unusable.

The Room is great. But the exterior is in disrepair, middle of June, pool non operational plus the atmosphere is very sterile there and you can’t even walk into the office unless it’s breakfast hours so if you want a place to pass out this is your place. If you want to anything besides sleep then maybe consider spending more and staying closer to the center of old town

Hotel communicates AFTER YOU PAY and only through Expedia message - you must have your computer or Expedia app AND signal and check for the door code and apt number sometime before you get there. I didn't check my PC after I hit the road. Got to stay down the street for a buck and a half extra. Figured it out when I logged into the XYZ inn and got Expedia messages going, but I already paid again at the XYZ. "What can we do to make it right" was communicated, I replied with "subtract the Expedia fees and split it with me." No reply. Two story, outdoor entry place, office with taped up messages with phone number to call (didn't work). If you aren't OK with stairs, I don't know how they'd assign a room. Can't say anything about the inside (unfortunately) but the XYZ was pretty gross. Definitely older 1970's vibe in the town. Most of the hotels on the block were also unmonitored.

Do not stay here! Got covered in bites presumably from bed bugs during my stay, with no help from the staff other than switching to the room right beside the one with bed bugs, the pool was darker green than the lake and of all the places I’ve stayed over the years this was the least secure room I have ever seen

Only downside is no ice machine. Other than that no issues. Check in in contactless. Love that

There is no staff at this location. To check in u had to call, the pool was not maintained to be open, we used the hotel next doors pool, no staff to accommodate needs such towels we had to travel to buy our own while staying just to have enough for 1 each of us.

This was an average hotel could have been better but some things were left unclean.

Had to call someone to get bathroom tissue.

Do NOT stay here! The room was old with stains on the carpet and a few spots on the bedspread. The bathroom was clean. No staff on site just a number to call to get the key cofe to get in the room. I do not know how this place can have 8.6 out of 10 reviews. Maybe we just had a bad room but we will never stay here again.

only way to talk to someone was by phone. tv would not work. got moved to another room. no room service on saturday. called about service and was told be there next day. it is not like it was years before. will not stay again.

The Candlewick Inn was easy to find. Our room was very clean and renovated. The bed was a comfortable memory foam mattress. We enjoyed our stay, which was a late arrival and early morning departure. We needed a comfortable place to stay, and we got that.

Room was clean. How ever shower curtain smelled like mildew. Ice machine was not working.

This property was not maintained at all, pool not useable locked up, office hard to deal with, ice machine broken.

Bed slept well, easy in and out
