We appreciated the easy location off the highway, the clean rooms, the free breakfast, caring and professional staff, the quiet of this property and plenty of parking. There really wasn’t anything objectionable at all!

There was a big leak in the bathroom that kept dripping in the toilet. I kept trying to get ahold of the front desk and they never answered.

As freeway hotels go, it was fine. At that inflated price, however, it was extremely disappointing. I have stayed in a lot of hotels in my lifetime, all over the world, and that was probably the largest discrepancy I've ever paid for cost over quality. I grew up in the area and for the life of me cannot figure out why an aging Everett hotel near the freeway is charging more than some beautiful beachfront hotels I've stayed in. What is the draw? To be fair, other hotels in that bracket were similarly overpriced, but that doesn't make an overnight stay there any less disappointing. Rooms were meh - popcorn ceilings? and breakfast was meh. If the price had been reasonable it would have been fine. But the price was ridiculously inflated for reasons that will remain a mystery to me and my Everett resident friends, who were equally shocked at the price point. #1 THE PRICE - absolutely absurd 2. It's an old hotel - popcorn ceilings, old fixtures, carpet, bathroom that has seen better days 3. The price 4. Staff was going through the motions and not very friendly 5. Did I mention the price?

Do you like elevators that put the fear of death with every ride? Do you like extra sticky carpets, yes carpets? Do you enjoy the 40 year old smell of cigarette smoke that has embedded itself into the structural support of the building? Do you enjoy cold wet powdered eggs? What about staff that seem like their existence is hell on earth? Well this is the perfect poop shoot for you, Best Western Cascadia. They also mop the floors with a homemade mop made of a broom and bath towel. I've stayed in some awful places while this one isn't near the worse place I have stayed it has made its own place in my heart blockage.

When we first walked in our room it smelled terrible. It is a pet friendly hotel, but that room smelled overwhemingly like dog/cat pee. The photos online don't do any justice for what this hotel is really like.

Considering the hotel is on a busy street, it was remarkably quiet in our room. The breakfast was plentiful, but the room didn't have seating for everyone at the time we ate.
-
The hotel was clean and the pool was nice. The beds and pillows were so uncomfortable. The rooms were loud from hallway noise, and the AC cycling on and off all night. Limited breakfast options.
-
Easy on and off the highway, simple to locate, ample parking.

Breakfast selection was great. Location to freeway perfect. Clean up outside, ie..empty garbage. Needs new or cleaned carpet in hallways. Elevator needs attention kinda rickety.

Good breakfast options included

This hotel is a joke for wheelchair accessible access. I stayed one night and went to another hotel the following night. We got a room that has a bathtub and a store bought shower chair and a low toilet. I had to use a store bought plastic toilet riser. This room was never set up for a handicap room, but thrown together. A shower could not happen because the individual in a wheelchair can not left there legs over the bathtub, and all the hallways are on a hill. Hills suck when pushing a wheelchair
