We stayed at the hotel during the Fairbanks Golden Days July 26. We watched the parade come down the street where we stayed and didn’t have to drive and find a parking spot! Wonderful stay except for minor incident that hapoened on our last night.
-
The hotel was close to restaurants, coffee shops and other places of interest. The shuttle to the airport was great.

We didn’t have to turn on a/c much at all. Love it! The worst part was the two beds. They were worn out and needed to be replaced together with the beddings. Everything else in the room was average but clean. The maids were genuinely nice and polite. They did their job well. The front desk staff were ok. The younger ones did their job without smiles. The breakfast was not interesting. $12.95 per person for typical buffet breakfast food to be had in the basement with no window. We chose to go to Salty’s instead.
-
I did like they were really great about setting up a shuttle from the airport & train station. The room was really small but clean. There are barely any amenities - at least there are some good restaurants within walking distance. The staff at the desk were just ok - not super friendly.

All around good
-
Friendly staff, comfortable, clean and accommodating.
-
Overall was good. Really was not in room except to sleep. Convenient location, right on Chena river. Window AC worked but had to have curtain open so it is hard to sleep with it being light out. Definitely needed the AC for our stay.
-
Convenient downtown location. Walkable and quiet.
-
The staff is super friendly and really accommodating. Overall the place is in the best location to explore downtown and it’s super easy to explore the rest of the area and immediate areas of Fairbanks!
-
This place offers comfortable (and clean) rooms in a perfect location to explore Fairbanks. It’s a great basecamp to see the entire area and it’s particularly great for downtown too! There’s plenty of great food and drink options within a 1-5 minute walk and so much to see within that area too. Will def. Be staying here again!
-
Our stay was okay, but the fridge in our room did not work and the front desk staff did not communicate well with the shuttle, which resulted in us being late for plans we had later in the day.
-
The staff was amazing!! The supervisor (Sorry can’t remember her name) was the nicest and most helpful person I’ve dealt with in a very long time. She is an asset to the company. I will DEFINITELY recommend the Bridgewater Hotel to anyone who is looking for a place to stay while visiting Fairbanks
-
The staff was wonderful and helpful. The room very clean. My only complaint was the cost of the washers and dryers. Way too expensive.
-
Front desk staff was l as than welcoming. Needs a personality adjustment. Morning person delightful
-
Hotel room was dirty, hair and pubic hair in my shower wall. Room was extremely small I almost thought there wasn’t a bathroom. Thin sheets. Thin pillows. The room Smelled bad and mildewy/ Smokey. It’s fine for a spot to sleep in between areas but I don’t recommend for a week long stay. You’d expect to pay 100$ a day for this outdated and old hotel, not 250$.
-
I would not stay here again. The property is very dated, the bed was broken, the room was extremely small, there’s no gym, the food was not good, and there were many dissatisfied customers. Fairbanks is great, the location of the hotel is good, and the employees were nice enough.
-
Terrible location - charged 15 for a terrible breakfast . Pick another hotel
-
the staff was very helpful, polite and the rooms were clean and had good amenities. The building and rooms are very aged but you can tell the staff does the best they can with what they have.
-
Clean, new, nice guest laundry
-
Nice place near lots of things in town and not too bad of a price for Alaska. Can’t think of anything negative.
