Wish we could have stayed there for our trip

I’ve stayed in every large establishment in Fairbanks for decades and when I visit up North, I stay where you find the best and Sophie’s Station far surpasses the others hands down in comfort in restaurant and amenities. I’ve never had better accommodating staff. When you travel and want to enjoy as I do and you’re in Fairbanks Alaska look no further than Sophie’s Station. This is 45 years of traveling all over in Alaska alone. So pamper your self and relax at Sophie’s.

Good location

We travel to from Anchorage to Fairbanks a few times a year to visit family. We always stay at Sophies station when practical. (If you need two rooms, it is more practical to get a VERBO.) the location is great for our family’s residence and the restaurant is a small wonder. Each room has a real kitchen and major supermarkets are just a couple blocks away. If you need something for your kitchen and it’s not there, just ask at the front desk. I highly recommend the Ruben at the restaurant.

I like walking distance to the two major stores safeway and Fred Myers for myself walking distance to toco king also

A seperate bedroom and kitchen facilities A bit away from the centre but uber solved that problem. Good for a flight out of Fairbanks as they had a shuttle

We love staying here. Our room was a suite so had a separate living area/kitchen from the bedroom which is so nice since my husband gets up way earlier than I do. The hotel is quiet and a great place to stay.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff were very nice and helpful. Our free shuttle rides with Daniel sure made our visit to easier and enjoyable! The rooms were nice, but use a little updating.

Had everything you needed. Kind of like a timeshare. Awesome shuttle driver Daniel. A great accommodation after our hotel in Denali.

Huge room. Quiet. Full kitchen. Room not ready at 4:30. Priority given to tour buses. Carpet looks like it’s from the 70s. Dark brown matted and dirty.

It was really clean and quiet and it was great they pick you up and take you to both the train station and the airport. We just wish it included a complimentary breakfast. They charge 28.95 for breakfast. That’s steep considering you’re paying $200+ a night. Did like we could cook our own meals if we chose.
