Golden North Inn

Service, was great easy and the place was clean and quiet. Great location.

The staff was amazing and the beds clean and comfortable. My only suggestion would be to stagger the rooms. The hotel was not full and we had someone come in rather late right above us and wake us up. There seemed to be plenty of space to give guests some space.

This was a clean and basic place to stay at reasonable price for Fairbanks. Free coffee was of great quality and though breakfast area was in a tiny corner in the office it was decently stocked with hardboiled eggs fruit, yogurt,snacks,etc. We had the smallest room and bathroom was redone but NO towel bar or hooks anywhere so pretty inconvenient to use bathroom.

Airport shuttle available even after 9pm. Staff were courteous and helpful. Hotel was a short distance from airport. Clean bathroom with plenty fluffy towels and hot water. Fred Meyers store was a short walk which had most everything that you would need. It is a short ride to Pioneer Park and the Salmon Bake. A complimentary continental breakfast was available (coffee, water, tea, hot chocolate, boiled eggs, cheese sticks, oatmeal, yogurt, fruit, and a variety of breakfast bars). Since I arrived at night, I just needed a clean, safe place to stay to recover from traveling all day. And this place met my needs.

Yuval is the most helpful manager as well as his entire staff. Always welcoming me with gratitude and smiles. I’ll always stay here.

The peace and quietness, and the air conditioning. No hot/cold beverage cups. All is good.

The location was good. The free shuttle from the airport was convenient. The staff was nice, especially the morning crew. The rooms are outdated and small.

The Inn was excellent- The breakfast was great, bottled waters are provided. The room was clean, prompt shuttle transfer to airport and railway is provided. I am impressed. The frontdesk team is very kind and fulfilled all my requests.

It was ok for a cheap one night place to stay and clean

Clean room and very helpful staff. Breakfast offering was really good. It's very handy having the local store just a few minutes walk away. Coupled with the fridge and microwave provided in the room, I was able to prepare myself a simple meal and relax after a tiring day.

Original room way too small, but paid extra and stayed in large room. We were on the first floor able to park truck next to door, THAT WAS GREAT! Not a picturesque spot. Our view was a snowmobile dealer lot.

Sheets on the beds were fresh and clean. Towels were thick and white. Breakfast choices were pretty good for a continental style breakfast. We were told our room was an upgrade. One of the beds in the room was so bad, each side sank as low as it’s possible to go and the middle was soft, but better than each side of the bed. NEVER have seen anything this bad EVER! That mattress should have been tossed years ago! Bathroom was cruddy looking and overall looked and felt dirty. Air conditioner was very odd!

The shuttle from the airport was easy to find and it was a quick drive. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Renovations were happening in the room next to me - hammering and drilling for most of the afternoon didn’t help my jet lag. The motel seemed pretty quiet - not sure why I would be given a room right next to the noise. Breakfast was good and well-stocked. My only real complaint was while I was unrolling the tub mat, a giant clump of black hair fell loose. Pretty disgusting. Overall, it was a good value for the price.
