Studio 6 Extended Stay Fairfield, OH - Cincinnati

Outdoor seating gave me a lovely spot for morning journaling alone. Also, CCTV in common areas kept me feeling secure.

Room was clean and bed the comfortable. They also had a blanket in the room which was nice. I could hear people in the hall being loud. I will say you have to go up/down some stairs to get to the rooms so if you struggle with that beware, for me it wasn’t an issue.

Staff was nice. It was more closed off in the back for privacy.

No elevator, just warning ya

It was easy to get to and the front desk gentleman was very kind. Fridge didnt work and our milk for our baby went bad overnight and fridge had a weird smell. Pull out beds sheets were not clean so I had to come down to reception and ask for new ones. Also when we first got to our room the door was open and held open by the swinging door latch. We weren't sure if anyone was already staying in the room at first. We've stayed here before in the past year and loved how the last room we had was, that was the reason we picked to stay here again. Disappointed in this stay for sure.

Poor

We were checking in and they weren’t even sure if they had a room for us even though I booked a month ahead of time. Then there was a 70$ deposit I did not know about and would have budgeted for if so. I had to check out really early and there was no one there to do that so I set my key behind the counter even called the number and no one answered. Been trying to call to make sure everything was good and can not even talk to someone. I tried the reservation line but could not even understand the guy who was talking. Continued to try and call the front desk with no answer. I will not stay there again. It looks nothing like the pictures and I felt super uncomfortable there

Passable

Doors lock on the out side past 10 so cant check in if driving late. Little to no breakfast. Have to pay an nextra 70 thats held at check in which isnt mentioned or added which is stupid An have to leave at 11am. People like to sleep in. An needs to l9wer prices especially for week pay an or month pay 1400 f9r a m9nth 500 for a week is more then an apartment an no one on disability can pay it.

For what it's worth I was pleased with the clenliness. It's a bit outdated but again a clean space for the value.

Location It was not clean, there were abandoned cars in the parking lot, there was marijuana smoke, the room did not feel clean. We didn’t feel safe.

Needs updated pretty badly, as in the carpet in our room was ripped. No stairs though we knew this from the property details. Not bad commute to Paycor stadium. Easy to find and freeway access. A few food/ gas choices nearby. Fridge was cold. A/C was cold. Bedbug check was negative. Bed was comfortable enough. What else could you want?

Horrible found a piece of chicken in the microwave from previous people. Found hairs in the bathtub. Fridge smelled like rotten meat. Staff was horrible had to cancel my stay and was trying to get a refund but neither the staff or 1800 number where able to help me out.

When we arrived at our room, it had not been fully cleaned from the last guest. The garbage had not been removed and the bed had not been made. We were told it was the last room, so we couldn't be switched, and that the housekeeping staff was no longer available (it was 9:30pm), so we would either have to stay in the room as is or leave for another hotel. The staff went off-duty altogether at 10pm on Friday night and did not return until 10am Saturday morning. There was no shampoo in our room. A sign in the lobby had a phone number posted for emergencies, but when I tried to call it, no one answered and a message indicated that voicemail had not been set up for that phone number. Finally, when we decided to check out the next day instead of staying for our original four nights, the woman at the front desk charged us for the entire stay and told us we would have to call the manager the next day to get the remainder of our stay discounted. The number they gave us to call was not in service.

Exceptional

I was not expecting fancy, but I did expect a functional suite so I could cook and have coffee. I had to go out for everything. I rarely complain about economy lodgings, but this is an exception. Never again.
