I believe they were understaffed. Person handling breakfast shift could not keep up. Ran out of dishes constantly and new plates/silverware put out were dirty. Staff at front desk left shift late at night and were already back mid morning the next day. It appeared they may be remodeling as I could smell paint and saw some painters. One of our rooms smelled like urine. The property has the structure to be nice and the breakfast offered was much better than other places. This truly seems to be a staffing issue. The room smell does need to be addressed as well.

The room is very clean and quiet. I like the blackout curtain/shade. Breakfast is wonderful, variety of things. Staff is very helpful. Location is good. Definitely come back if I come to this area again.

The location is good. There were water bugs in the bathroom. The electrical system needs updating. If you use the microwave in the room the lights go out. Bathroom needs updating Hallway carpet is dirty. Breakfast was good. However everything runs out and it seems like it was only one person working. Same person cooking is the one replacing plates and utensils. You would think such a busy weekend there would be a little more help. Majority of the staff is very nice. When we checked in last at the front desk was not friendly or helpful.

Restroom is dark and water stains are present all through the room.

Food was terrible, room was dirty and smelled awful, no towels at the pool even though we asked twice. Really bad experience all around and you’d think it would be much better for such $400 a night. Never ever again.

The front desk personal was friendly and professional. The towels had stains on them. The bed sheets and pillows were damp/moist as if they weren't fully dried. The room was full mildew and the hallways reeked of cigarette smoke.

I did not use the amenities. The breakfast was nice. It was a comfortable, safe, clean place, good value for the dollar.

The bed was the worst bed we slept on! When we let house keeping know, they said there were no other mattresses. Mattress spring popping, slept on the edges of the bed to avoid falling into the taco shaped mattress. The landline phone didn’t work and when maintenance arrived to attempt to fix it, he said can’t fit it. Hmm, head scratcher. Elevator located at the far end of the hotel and since we were located the other end, we still had to bring our luggage up a stairs. A real inconvenience! Breakfast came complimentary but it was cold by the time you sat to eat it. The dishes were all dirty and we had to go through 10 plates before finding a clean one. On the weekend it was a full breakfast bar but on the weekday it had. very little to offer. We received towels once, bed was thrown together and not made at all. Trash wasn’t removed after day two of three day stay. We paid for truffles and extended checkout time and it wasn’t communicated properly since house keeping tried to come into our room while we were still within our check out time. When we asked the house keeper, she said she didn’t know. When I asked the front desk she said if it wasn’t communicated when we checked in then the hotel key locks the doors at 11am during normal check out time. Not the case since I specifically inquired about our truffles and extended late check with Zack. The front desk lady didn’t seem to care about my concerns at all. We will never stay here again no recommend to stay here ever

Love the flowers and the pretty view of the water. Jones road is quite busy.

Comfy beds. Great A/C. Delicious and impressive breakfast. The hot water didn’t work while we were there for a wedding weekend which meant cold showers for our family getting ready. And being told it would be fixed Monday. We were leaving Sunday. And then our room didn’t get cleaned the second day so after coming back from our day with family to prepare for wedding, we had to use wet used towels. They offered us a 30% refund but then only provided 15% and that was after extensive phone calls. These things happen, pipes break, workers forget rooms, but the management response was sub-par.

The hotel was pricey for the quality.

It was a cute and clean place. I was a little disappointed with breakfast- there wasn’t any protein sources at all. It’s basic. Other than that it was great for my quick turnaround stay.

My stay at Iris was great. The pool was nice and warm, the receptionists were really helpful, and the location was perfect. Not only is there a great view from the front door, you’re located 4-5 minutes away from Main Street Falmouth. The receptionist helped me extend my stay and I got to stay in the same room with no issues or hassle. The only thing that is keeping this from 5 stars, was after I long night out on my first day, I had put a do not disturb sign on my door so I could catch up on sleep, but at around 10:15 AM my door was opened and my light turned on until it was quickly closed right after. I also had asked on the second day for someone to come in to swap out my towels and my sheets early in the morning but they weren’t able to get to me in time. Also like others have mentioned there was mold in my bathroom from the vent to the light above the sink which wasn’t a huge deal as we just used the bathroom when absolutely necessary. I would definitely come back and stay again. The price was great for everything that comes with it.

I don't know the persons name but whomever was replenishing the breakfast items and coffee hustled his butt off. He worked quite hard and quite fast and on a Saturday morning there were a lot of people at breakfast. Check in and check out was easy although I thought there may have been an MOD on duty Saturday with the amount of weddings that were happening since we wanted to speak with them. Otherwise no problem. The location was great and easy to get to any location we wanted to go to.
