We didn’t get any room service at all for the three nights we stayed and didn’t check in to see if we needed anything. The bed was okay. Breakfast didn’t have lots of options.

The room was comfortable and clean. The AC worked wonderfully, as we like it cold. The staff was very helpful with suggestions for restaurants and directions. We did not make it to breakfast but the area was clean and had space for many.

When we first got our room, it was dirty. They gave us another room. Then, housekeeping still came in the room even when someone was still asleep, That’s a little creepy to me. There was no Do Not Disturb sign. I didn’t like that. Also, when we got back to the room one day, the whole room smelled like urine. Eventually, Ithaca smell went away…. Sometimes, the staff was helpful and sometimes they weren’t. My experience was not the greatest here…

Since I would be charged regardless, I decided to stay. Unfortunately, the room was not clean. When I went to take a shower, I found dirty towels hanging behind the bathroom door, and there were strands of blonde hair in the bed. This raised serious concerns about the cleanliness of the room. Based on my experience with the misleading cancellation policy and the lack of cleanliness, I would not recommend staying at this hotel.

The room was clean but little things like the popcorn pealing off the ceiling and kickplate on the door was coming off. Maintenance stuff that wasn't attended to. The exterior of the hotel also looked a little rough.

Unfortunately the property is not in good condition. Rooms and common areas are not well maintained. Would not stay here again.

The air conditioning worked perfectly, and kept the room very cool for us. It is an older hotel which needs to be updated a bit but overall, we had a great stay.

As you entered the building all you could smell was pot. The hallway to our rooms smelled like it too. Luckily the rooms themselves were clean - a bit worn but clean. Our rooms were on the side away from the freeway so they were quiet which was appreciated.

I was in town for a 4 night stay recently. When I checked into my room, I observed stains in the bedding and two bars of used soap left in the shower by previous guests. There were a few minor stains in the carpeting in my room as well. The front desk staff sent a housekeeper to correct the issues with the bedding and bathroom. However, I believe there was a possible infestation of bed bugs (or something similar) in my room due to itchy skin during sleeping. I decided to have breakfast on the last morning of my stay. There was a bit left to be desired regarding the quality of the food. Certain items had not been replenished. The sausage was subpar. This was my second stay at this location while visiting Detroit. I think I'll have to try someplace different on my next visit. On a positive note, the staff was nice and the housekeeping was consistent after my initial complaint.

Air conditioner didn't work very well, was also hot in the hallways. The room was clean though.

For a short stay, which we were there for, it was ok. If we were to need accommodations for a longer period of time, we would not stay at this location again. This building and amenities are old and in need of updating and refresh.

There is a new $100 deposit. The sign on the desk that was used to justify this deposit was misleading. The bathroom smelled sour

Room was discussing. Moved to another room and the toilet was broke. The smoke detector had saran wrap on it from whomever stayed prior. Towels stained another had hair in it. It seems if they don’t have the air on. The elevator was stuffy. All the breakfast was gone before 9:15 and was left with yogurt. This is no where near the stars given. If a star have to be given it would definitely be a low one star.

My room was very quiet, considering how close the property is to major roads. There was a power outage my last morning, which is probably not common, but was a little unsettling. Room was fine, but I had to go down to the desk to get batteries for the TV remote, and the sink drained very slowly, so it had a lot of the characteristics of a budget motel. Nothing awful, you just know you're not at a Marriott. Comfortable bed
