Holiday Inn Express Fayetteville- Univ of AR Area by IHG

It was friendly, clean and very comfortable. The king room was huge. It was a double king room. And it was very spacious. Nothing. Very impressed.

This is not what a Holiday Inn express is supposed to be like. The elevator was slow it was dirty inside. They were renovating some of it. Renovation or not, I was not warned on Expedia app.

Front desk staff were nice and helpful, location Where should I start. I've never had an experience like this hotel before. Housekeeping did not do their job. We stayed 6 days, not a single wipe down during our stay. Requested extra towels, 4 of us stayed in the room 3 towels were left. Toilet paper roll left by the sink wrapped. Sink is outside of the restroom. Hand soap were not filled up for 2 days. I know they are doing the renovation, but the rooms are falling apart. Breakfast was the lowest quality I ever had. Mid trip our tv quit working, they offered to move rooms which is a plus, I had no desire to pack our stuff and move rooms.

Air conditioner would not really get the room cool even when turned down really low. Breakfast was very good. Parking was limited due to construction at the hotel. Beds were comfortable.

I've been staying here off and on for 10 years. I've seen it progressively go down hill, but was encouraged when they started remodeling. I can only speak about the suites as that is what I always get. They desperately needed updating but they were done on the cheap and now are cold, sterile, and have so much echo it is sometimes hard to understand conversations on the TV. Laminate flooring, nothing on the walls, and to little furniture make it an echo chamber and very uninviting. They did a nice job on the bathroom. This last stay will be my last.

When i came out of the elevator for breakfadt the front desk clerk was yelling and cursing out cleaning staff

There was a little mixup with our rooms, but they helped us work it out. Breakfast was good. Beds were comfy. We took the last parking spot and it was very loud and crowded inside. Rooms were quiet, AC was working but still pretty muggy inside.

Check-in was fast and efficient, parking was sparse, room was large, wife liked large bathroom counter-space and sink arrangement, A/C was noisy (blessing in disguise-next to highway?), bed was super comfortable. Had issue with TV, but staff promptly came up to resolve. Hard to find a better motel continental breakfast, with those fresh cinnamon rolls. Coffee was great, but could not determine how to fix a half cup without wasting half of the coffee poured.

The property was fine in spots that had been renovated. The room we had had comfortable beds, but the ceiling in the restroom was falling, and the tub was gross, and the carpet was coming up out of the trim piece that can be a tripping hazard. They were renovating 3 doors down so hopefully they will do that room as well. The microwave didn't work very well and the fridge was ok but needed replaced as well. It did not freeze my freezer packs. The staff that checked us in did a great job! They were friendly, cheerful and checked us in quickly as we were tired after 13 hours driving all day. The next morning the breakfast was very good. The checkout process was also easy and again the staff was friendly. If I pay the amount we did I expected a nicer room so maybe next time....BTW I bring my own cleaner and scrub brush if I stay anywhere and I scrub the shower heads, faucets and tub due to being hospitalized a few months back with an infection that after research grows on shower heads and faucets so... everywhere I go I clean those areas with my bleach cleaner and scrub brush. I do replace the brush after each use. Otherwise our stay was pleasant and actually quiet.

Great stay overall! The place was really clean, which I always appreciate. The staff were super friendly and made me feel welcome from check-in to check-out. Breakfast was a nice surprise too, good variety of free options, so I never had to worry about grabbing something before heading out for the day. Would definitely stay here again.

Located near several things we planned to do. Easy access on and off the interstate. Not a thing. It was perfect.

This was the worst holiday inn express I’ve stayed at. Shower was gross looked like it hadn’t been cleaned, the ac worked great, but you had to have it running the entire time, because as soon as it shut off the room heated up. It wouldn’t been a problem, but the ac is loud.
