Reviews

The rooms were nice, but we needed a broom in the room to sweep the sand. The staff was helpful.

Great location. We enjoyed everything. Just be aware that the parking is an additional $15 per night. I missed that when booking. But the proximity to the ocean, is probably why.

Clean but only a 2 or 3 star hotel

Other reviews stated the hotel was very clean and nice. However, I found this not to be the case. The hotel is definitely old and has many signs of wear and tear. It also was not very clean. Our bed had a footprint on the top of it. The floors, especially under the bathroom sink were dirty. The drain for the tub was covered in mold and filth. Lamps had rust all over them. Door jam showed light through it and you could hear every noise and movement between your room and the next/the hallway. One of the exterior doors was broken during our stay and the staff’s fix for it was to tape over the inner door jam so the door didn’t need to be unlocked with your room key, thus allowing anyone from the streets into the building at any point. We did not eat or use the pool since basic cleanliness seemed to be lacking. Over all, you get what you pay for, but I’ve stayed in much nicer for less than $400+ per night. Not to mention having to pay to park when you’ve already paid to book the hotel, did they think we just teleported??

The location is everything with this property. You cross the street and you are at the beach. Next door is V's pizza, voted the best pizza in the area and I ate there. Great! Across from V's is a Dairy Queen for the kids and Denucci's frozen custard is down the street near the CVS. Great place for young families. It is a chill vibe.

Bad breakfast

Great hotel, clean room, friendly staff, amazing location.

From checking in to checking out the staff were super friendly, our key card got deactivated on accident a few times (our fault, putting in by your phone does this) and the staff never acted like we were a bother to keep coming to the desk for help. Breakfast was delicious, the room was clean, and the overall atmosphere was pleasant.

Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable! Property could use some upgrades! It was a great location!

Location was awesome! Sliders across the street was great too!

I’m really super relaxed, but this hotel wasn’t my expectations. I let them know, and they didn’t care. Also they didn’t return my deposit Doesn’t worth it
-
Just a little bit out dated.
-
Breakfast was convenient, close to conference I need to be at, walking close to beach and some fun bars.
-
Awesome staff! Great stay. Old feel. Would definitely stay again. Made the trip fun and enjoyable.

Great service! 🙏

Older hotel, could use an upgrade for sure! Water pressure was extremely low, their towel sizes were so small like children’s towels. They don’t have housekeepers on staff cleaning everyday, just when it requested, you have to put a note on your door before bed letting them know what you need. The bedroom floors were dirty and sandy. The elevator was very old and it shook a few times.

Have stayed at this hotel almost every time we’ve been to Amelia island, so easily at least 8 times. It’s a good basic hotel with excellent location, friendly staff, and nice breakfast. The rooms are clean and beds comfortable. Will return again.

Hotel was ok. We checked in around 10 pm and although there was a note on the check in desk about the worker being down the hall, they were nowhere to be found. Finally, we found her 10 minutes later just sitting back behind the wall not paying attention. Breakfast was ok, not great. Parking lot seemed a little sketchy at night.
