The staff, the grounds, the free breakfast, our room. Everything was amazing.

Loved staying here, only issue was ac wasnt working properly but the hotel was able to accommodate a portable ac unit to the room and worked great!
-
I loved the pool and hot tub. Breakfast was nice every morning. Nice outdoor seating area with four gas grills to use. Will stay here again.

Have stayed here many times. This time was not great! Took a long time to get checked in, the bathroom wasn't the cleanest and the room was hot. I turned the temperature down as far as it would go but it was still too hot to sleep. Way too overpriced for that to happen!

Hands down, the staff here are the best. We arrived after 9 PM for check in on a Thursday night and the lady at the front desk was awesome! Extremely friendly, warm, and helpful. She went extremely out of her way to communicate helpful information about parking, activities around the resort and in town, and let us know about their shuttle which would take us anywhere around the island and then pick us up later to bring us back to the resort for free. She loaded us up with brochures about the island. I have not met anyone working for a hotel as pleasant or as nice in 45 years of active travelling as an adult . The 2 bedroom suite was awesome - each bedroom had its own bathroom. The kitchen was great as well - full size fridge and the amenities you would need to enjoy a stay there without going out to eat. Lovely place.

Fresh and hot breakfast with many choices, comfy bed and spacious rooms, very friendly staff! Hot tub was not working properly and needed to be cleaned, water pressure in shower could’ve been better and shower head was old and worn out.

Our stay was amazing! Staff was extremely friendly and willing to help. Property was clean, beds were comfortable and convenient to stores and food. They even gave out all you can eat free ice cream some days, the kids loved it. There was a nice outdoor patio, where they had a fire lit every evening and 3 large grills to uses as well. We definitely will plan to stay again on our next trip to Amelia Island.

We rented this room, looking for a wonderful experience in this great location in Florida. It turns out they rented us this room, knowing the air conditioner was broken and attempted to fix it halfheartedly with a portable air conditioner unit and a box fan. It did not do the job and it was too noisy to get a good night sleep and enjoy a $400 a night experience. Their response was to give us $50 and a cheap bottle of wine. The night manager Robyn was very unhelpful and would not listen to anything and reply before I could explain to her exactly what was going on. She denied knowing that the air conditioning was broken when we made our reservation for the fifth floor. I talked to a maintenance man after we checked in and he said a part did not make it in the week before to fix the air-conditioning system. We are working with Expedia to get a full refund.

Check in was easy. Room and other parts of the hotel were clean. We enjoyed the pool. Breakfast was not the experience it used to be. A lot of options at breakfast but the eggs were never really warm. The hot plate they put under the pan that hold the eggs doesn't really keep the eggs warm like a sterno would. Second day there was no regular or 2 percent milk available, only 1 percent. They also ran out of sugar free syrup that day and had none to replace it. We went to the store and bought our own milk. When we stayed there a few years ago the person in the dining room removed our dirty plates from the table but not this time. Seemed to be only one person in the dining room refilling things, keeping things filled, and it seems like too much for one person. I saw someone else bring out French toast after the pan was empty but then she went back to the kitchen. Still a good breakfast.

Really enjoyed our stay. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great! Will stay again next year on vacation.

The air conditioning in our room was out and we were not informed. There was a single window unit installed but it was not efficient as it was 100 degrees the day we stayed. The hotel staff said they had no record of the air conditioning being out.

Overall: Everything was perfect except room #414 had an AC unit in the wall that once the AC shuts off and TV is off, there’s a dripping of water that is dripping in an overflow pan inside that is in the wall behind a metal access door that dripped and splashed ever 2 seconds throughout the entire night. By the time we uncovered this when going to bed, it was almost midnight and not worth packing up and changing rooms so we stuck it out. It was impossible to sleep as the area of the vent was at the foot of the bed.

It was very clean and smelled very good. It is a very nice building and updated nicely. Nice parking and good ease to the beach. Very comfortable beds.
-
Very friendly staff. Breakfast was awesome. Will go back again.
-
Lived the split rooms (bedroom from kitchenette-tv area. Dislike - For the kids, sofa bed was ok but you could feel the springs. Children of any weight would have noticed.
-
Walking distance to the beach but they also provide van service

We stayed 7 nights at the Amelia Island Residence Inn.. It was a great location. Lots of restaurants nearby. Harris Teeter grocery store is great to have very close by.. The suite we had was very clean and had everything we needed in the kitchen, except we were disappointed to not have an oven. We like to bake healthy foods instead of using a frying pan, but we did okay with just a stove top.. The beds are very comfortable.. The breakfast each morning was very good. All the employees at the hotel were wonderful and helpful.. I have to give a special shout out to "ROBIN" at the front desk, who was there when we checked in.. Oh my goodness, was she ever so nice and informative to us.. She left the desk and took us to two different suites, so we could choose which one we would like best. She gave us lots of brochures to look at, about activities on the island. We so appreciated her kindness to us after a long drive to get there.. If I could talk to the person in charge of pay raises, I would definitely suggest Robin to be considered for one... lol-I hope she hears about this review.

The staff was above and beyond. I was getting married the day after I arrived and the florist was delivering flowers. The front desk... instead of taking the flowers and putting them aside for us till pick up they took them and found buckets and placed all in water for us. Above and beyond. Robyn was amazing... put in a quick room away from everyone on the 5th floor. The night staff was great to all my guests too. We hung out some nights in the courtyard... they were above and beyond checking on us to see if we needed anything.. water ect... We will be staying there from now on!
