Ocean Coast Hotel at the Beach Amelia Island

Great location, great amenities and GREAT VALUE!! Will be back! All good, except hot tub was not working when we were there…

Good location. Great value. Good size or the room with plenty of space for our stuff. It's nothing high end but yet, it is good for what you pay.

We had a wonderful stay, Nicole and Wendy were very helpful. Perfect location with the beach just a few yards away.

The location is good, close to most of the things, no direct access to beach, but a decent distance walk to public beach access. The professionalism of the staff is a bit questionable, when we realized we have left our daughter's stuffed animal behind and went back to ask for it, the anwer we received was it would be taken by the cleaning crew, such bold statement surprised us, and we were kind of glad we only stayed briefly.

Clean and close to location needed A little older hotel but still nice.

Near the beach Floors needed to be clean in room just from a lot of traffic. Maybe a upgrade on towels they looked kinda dingy.

Not far from beach and walking distance to different places. Refrigerator did not work too good. Did not keep food cold enough.

The door to the room look like it needed replacing and several other doors to several other rooms like the same way, so I’m assuming all our most are in the same condition because I did not feel like the door was as sturdy as it should be Great location they have a nice pool. They need to spend some money on some upgrades on the repairs instead of patching. They need to replace things. I said all of that in the previous comment, they used to have a bar on the property inside of the restaurant and they hung live music whether they live music or not the restaurant and the atmosphere on site sure made it easy to hang out and have a nice meal in the mornings and the evenings The pizza restaurant is good also but the other restaurant gave it a whole different vibe more like a resort

The shower looks permanently dirty.

Close to the beach. The 1st room we were in the heat was broken so we got moved to another room. The shower did not have a lot of pressure.

The staff was excellent! The location was great. Loved the breakfast options. We had to change rooms because of roaches, but the staff was quick to resolve the issue and we didn't see any in the next room. The pet fee is a little high especially considering that the room wasn't exactly clean. The bathroom had dirty footprints on the wall (?). In the first room, the fridge area wasn't very clean, but it could've been because of the wear in the furniture. Overall it was a great stay. In the summer we enjoy the pool, but it seems some things are going downhill. Honestly, if we found another affordable place with a pool (for our summer stays) and that accepts pets, we would switch our hotel. PS: The beds were awful. It's been 4 days since we left and my back is still giving me trouble.

breakfast was very minimal and gone before hours were completed additional charge for parking. its definitely a party hotel on the weekends. multiple rooms had alcohol cans plastic cups and bottles flowing out of the rooms with doors open and passed out guests inside. it was very uncomfortable to walk by so we just avoided that side of the hotel

The view from the room was amazing Issues with finding the staff to check out. No one was upfront stood around for about 30 minutes with a large group of people waiting for someone to come

Location. Right across from the beach and a great restaurant and lounge. Also, Brooklyn at checkout and the breakfast and breakfast attendant. They were the bright side of the stay. Lethargic attitude at check in, barely mumbling if any discourse at all. Room had no coffee maker, nor phone. It was clean but bare minimum. The place was empty and charged $10 for parking in their on site large lot. Ludicrous. Much better options abound.
