Surf and Sand, BW Signature Collection

Quiet area. Great location. Right next to beach, restaurants and park.

The staff was pleasant.

A great location, simple hotel, there were many signs of wear and tear inside the bathroom. The door was cracked in the bottom corner, the bathroom sink was old and very openly old. But all of these was not important for us, we came to go straight to the beach, restaurants and pool, so all of these were a great trade off.

Close to the beach. Breakfast was okay. Rooms were standard not the cleanest but not entirely disgusting.

It’s a BW. Enough said.

I have stayed here before, a few years back. The staff was very helpful, room was great! Same one I had years ago. Quiet, clean, bed comfy. Very close to ocean, Salt Life bar/restaurant, etc. Bicycles to use for free....

Could have used some forks in the breakfast room! Not easy to eat sausage and hashbrowns with a knife and spoon! Seriously, you don’t stock up on plastic forks, just knives and spins! Got to be a Dollar General around there some place.

Excellent breakfast. Good location. Clean room and spacious. Pool was very limited and marginally maintained......door to pool locked, then not able to get back in. WIFI was very slow when it worked (which was sporadic). Very hot on beach in the summer, better in other times during the year. Very nice island.....close to park and downtown. Nice sunset cruise.

The Elavator

Paid a lot more when we decided to go a night earlier than we'd originally booked.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful, considerate and kind. They showed that they enjoyed their guests.

Clean room great beds. 2 min walk to the beach. Great staff. Great breakfast. Next door to salt life restaurant. Also on the beach the sandbar and grill had great food mixed drinks and weekend bands. The only problem with this hotel is No WiFi. They give you a code for the Wi-Fi but you won’t need it because the Wi-Fi will hook up on its own but it’s deceiving because there is no Wi-Fi. I’ll tell you what they do have and that’s a 24 seven hotline for Wi-Fi connection troubleshooting so you can try that if you like, but we just turned the Wi-Fi off and use our phones without it. That worked OK, except for videos would not play all the way through which this was not a dealbreaker seeing as we didn’t come there to be on our phones, but you might want to take that into consideration if you are there for any work related duties.

Clean rooms hot showers and good Air conditioning unit

CONS : The wifi was in & out (mostly out). There were no umbrellas at the pool area for shade. Umbrellas are a most by the pool. The Breakfast Buffett differs from day to day. Biscuits and gravy were good. Scrambled eggs, sausage, fresh fruit. No breads, no muffins, no toast. That was a 1st. If the oceanfront properties are too expensive and/booked, this Hotel is great. We will definitely be going back. This location makes it easy to pack a lot of fun into a short trip.

Staff was nice, rooms were ok.

I only have two complaints and both are personal opinion -I did not like the coffee at all, in the room or at breakfast. Coffee drinkers REALLY appreciate a good cup of coffee first thing in the morning. And I wish there was a bar of soap in the shower - I personally do not like shower gel on the wall being the only option.

Location. Clean. Nice staff. Convenient. The bed was toooooooo soft. Cheap.

Convince to the beach Having to pay a $15 a day parking fee even though I’m a guest. I will reconsider staying there again next year and will probably rent a house on the beach for the same price point.

We had a nice trip, close walk to the beach, and the room was kept nice and clean! Will stay again!
