Everything was clean but my room was musty smelling. The bikes were great because they were free but not well maintained.

All was clean, friendly, convenient to everything in Fernandina. We have been going there a few times a year for many years and never had a bad experience. Already talking about our next stay. Highly recommend.

What a fantastic spot! It was so close to the beach and an amazing restaurant (Salt Life Food Shack), Fort Clinch (so historical and interesting) and downtown!

Staff was very friendly and helpful, continental breakfast was good. The first room we were given we had to leave due to the ceiling leaking and the was only like warm water for a shower. The beds in the room were very high and not comfortable and the toilets were very low! The second room was better for hot water but beds and toilet the same. The pool is very small and no shade to be had! And if you don’t mind walking around the building to get back in after swimming it’s not bad. All in all we won’t be back.

Walking distance to the beach. Perfect location. Only negative is having to pay the hotel to park at the hotel. Beach parking just a few feet away however was free.

Great stay

I was pleasantly surprised by the breakfast. We enjoyed scrambled eggs, sausage and Biscuits with gravy. I wish I was hungrier, the croissants, bagels and toast were tempting.

location was great and the front desk staff was very helpful. The shower was ok but could use an update.

The staff was pleasant.

A great location, simple hotel, there were many signs of wear and tear inside the bathroom. The door was cracked in the bottom corner, the bathroom sink was old and very openly old. But all of these was not important for us, we came to go straight to the beach, restaurants and pool, so all of these were a great trade off.

Close to the beach. Breakfast was okay. Rooms were standard not the cleanest but not entirely disgusting.

Comfy bed, smelled good, good water pressure, great A/C Didn’t have streaming services, pool access is awkward and small pool, odd location as well.

Water pressure was horrendous, number 1 and a couple sheets of toilet paper clogged the toilet, and no one was available to unclog or provide a proper toilet plunger (only a sink plunger.

It’s a BW. Enough said.

The staff was incredibly friendly, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and featured a bathroom fully stocked with body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. I also really enjoyed the pool, which was clean and refreshing. While the breakfast offered a great variety of options, the quality wasn't quite there. However, the wonderful service more than made up for it—the staff member was exceptionally kind and helpful. Additionally, the hotel is within easy walking distance of the beach and several restaurants. I will definitely book another stay here! I was disappointed to find that parking requires an extra fee; this is an amenity that should really be included in the room rate. Additionally, the pool area would benefit greatly from some shaded sections and increased seating options. Lastly, the back entrance door did not function with my key card, forcing us to walk all the way around the exterior of the hotel just to return to our room.

I have stayed here before, a few years back. The staff was very helpful, room was great! Same one I had years ago. Quiet, clean, bed comfy. Very close to ocean, Salt Life bar/restaurant, etc. Bicycles to use for free....

Could have used some forks in the breakfast room! Not easy to eat sausage and hashbrowns with a knife and spoon! Seriously, you don’t stock up on plastic forks, just knives and spins! Got to be a Dollar General around there some place.
