Hampton Inn and Suites Amelia Island Historic Harbor Front

We have stayed here often and truly enjoy our stays! Location is great!

We booked last minute but everything was great and we had an easy check in!

For a premier location and price this Hampton was a huge disappointment. Room was old, worn out, sink and tub did not drain well, kitchen area was old, dishwasher was falling out of the cabinet, and hallways looked like something out of the ‘80s. I’ve stayed in dozens and dozens of Hampton Inns over my work career, but this place ranks as the worst. Location is amazing on Centre Street where all the action is, but take my advice and find another hotel or inn.

The room itself felt fresh but unfortunately the bathroom was less than clean. The toilet was loose and featured an ugly amateurish attempt to caulk the base. The caulk in the shower was also poorly done. Grout on the floor and the shower floor had streaks of mold, and there was orange goo around the edges and particularly slimy on the threshold. I mentioned it at checkout and was thanked but no offer was made to compensate. I still recommend staying there due to location and price, but take a look before accepting your room. Another room in our group reported their bathroom was clean.

Breakfast all gone by 9 am. Rooms old and not nice especially for what they charge. Yuck

The room, view, location, and staff were wonderful. We enjoyed the stay and will definitely be back.

The breakfast staff was not very friendly.

Hotel was clean, great location to walk to shops and restaurants. We requested a top floor room, but was told that because we booked with Expedia, they could not accommodate our request because Expedia assigns the room. We book through Expedia all the time and this was the first time they would not change our room. However, we had a pleasant stay.

Excellent location, friendly staff and nice accommodations. We would stay there again.
