Econo lodge Flagstaff East I-40

I stayed here thinking it would be one step up from or at least the same quality as the Motel 6. It was definitely worse. Nothing was well maintained. The room was dirty, especially the floors and the counters. The area above the curtain was covered in spray foam and the curtain was broken and covered in stains. I’m not sure if they cleaned the sheets. The other clientele were seemingly doing drugs. We definitely chose the wrong hotel so I guess unless you want to fit in with that crowd I would definitely choose anywhere else to stay in Flagstaff. If you want to stay in the same price range, the Motel 6 is certainly not glamorous but it’s MUCH better than this place and at about the same price.

Price for the night was good. How the front clerk who worked on 08-21-2026 in the morning was so rude to customers. Charged a fee meant for damages in the room, but charged us for the "smell of shit" ; her exact words , not mine. I didn't know using the restroom facility was illegal.. what if my child was with us? Would we still be treated like that?

Towels and bedding had stains. No replacements were available. Furniture had large burn marks. Cops were called for some kind of domestic dispute.

There was no creamer for the coffee

Great location and price. Being charged 3 times just to get my reserved room, the employee’s not understanding and making it more complicated. I’ve been charged 2 times on a debit card and 1 in cash. I’ve gotten one refund back but not the other, it’s been 2 months now and haven’t received anything yet.

The front desk lady was not very friendly. But she was efficient got my in 2 mins. No breakfast.
