Wyndham Flint MI/Grand Blanc/Bishop Airport/Conference Ct

As very seasoned travelers (65F & 64M) who have stayed in places all across the country, my husband & I failed to do our due diligence in reading reviews for this hotel. Many of the poor reviews are very similar to our experience. We booked this room 2 months in advance of a trip from Michigan to Virginia to see our granddaughter’s high school graduation. We traveled home from New York through Canada (5+ hour drive) to arrive at the hotel. While checking in, we were advised that the on-site bar/restaurant was NOT open (one of the main reasons we chose this hotel). No reason why from desk clerk (and the hotel website showed that it WAS open) We then had to get back into our car and drive to another restaurant. When we arrived back to the hotel, we went to use the hot tub (also part of the reason for booking this hotel) and found that it was “Closed for renovations”. In the morning, we got up early to take advantage of the “complimentary hot breakfast” only to find that (per staff in the restaurant), the cook did not show up so NO breakfast available. At check out, we asked about a refund of some type for all of the above reasons, but were told to go through Expedia. We did this, were told by Expedia that our request was denied. No reason given to them as to “why” and several voicemail’s left for the hotel management have gone unanswered. READ REVIEWS AND ACT ACCORDINGLY!!!!

Clean rooms, nice comfortable beds and breakfast was good. Will definitely stay again.

Clean staff helpful and friendly Nothing

The hot tub was out and that’s the major reason why we got a hotel, they gave no warning whatsoever. The pool has apartment style rooms attached directly to it and there was like 50 kids so the pool was over crowded the entire visit also. I thill haven’t gotten my deposit back which there isn’t a reason for them to keep it either. Hot tub being broken without any kind of warning with the pool over crowded.

Wasn’t a good stay this go round Maintenance interrupted our peace multiple times.. we ran out of towels and tissue it look over 30 minutes to get replaced

Good location, I’m from the area so I knew it was a safe place to stay

n/a the toilet wasn't clean it had feces in it and the bowl had not been cleaned. the housekeepers never came to clean it.. they did however knock 20.00 off the bill

The room was good however when asked where to get breakfast the next morning, the front staff stated no one showed up good help is hard to find.

Super nice hotel with a fun lounge for drinks. Nice atmosphere and super clean rooms & comfortable beds. I really enjoyed my stay and will return someday. Wasn't really anything I didnt like

My only complaint is that the pool wasn't taken care of plus the hot tube was out of order

There are too many things I did not like to mention.

It’s not 5 star but it’s clean, the price is fair, the water is hot, and everything you need is within 2mins. The staff is really helpful and respectful. Hotel food is overpriced but can’t win them all. Overall a solid experience 4 stars and I will be back.

I enjoy my stay and close to various things

Falsely advertised their amenities. No mini fridge. No bar. Hot tub not working. Given a dirty room. Breakfast was cold and disgusting.
