Econo Lodge Florence - Darlington

We checked in and went to the room. As soon as I opened the door I saw a bug run across the floor. I immediately checked the sheets and mattress. They had bed bugs. We went back to the office and told the man behind the counter. He said I brought the bugs with me. It got ugly for a minute and then we went to the room and I showed him the nasty mattress. ....still waiting for the refund and we stayed at another place

Walked in room and there were roaches everywhere, toilet and tub plumbing was messed up. Was very disappointed

Staff has no ability to help and owner/manager doesn’t work in evenings when customers come to sleep just the morning for checkout. The staff refuses to call or reach out to manager to help when they can’t do basic things like get clean sheets since we had blood on ours… place is gross but not too far from what you would expect from an inn that no one does anything for. Biggest issue here is no one works that can help you…

Nothing The whole stay, we were rushed to check out an 1 1/2 before check out, we gave our dirty linen for clean and they refused to give us clean towels, our original room ac didn't work so was moved to another room and had to pay extra for it, also dirty linen in the room when we checked in

Everything and good staff I love everything

Right off of I-95, with many restaurants to choose from. For my needs, it was someplace to grab some sleep on a long trip. It’s a budget hotel, so my expectations were basically met. The bed was clean and the internet worked.

Parking was not convenient. Had o cross wide grassy area.

I then checked the reviews and realized I should’ve done so before. Many reviews indicating exactly what I describe above and the hotel always had the standard, silly response thanking people for the feedback and telling them how my feedback would be used to improve the facilities. Stop saying nonsense and just do it.

They did not offer breakfast Room was not cleaned. Not vacuumed. Not mopped. Vanity was filthy. Toilet seat held on with a large shoe lace. Microwave was disgusting and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. Batteries missing from tv remote. Refrigerator was broke. No hair dryer. No iron. The walls inside and outside was disgusting.

The key cards didn't work first off. They changed our room, and the key still did not work. The manager got us in the room but never brought back a working key. The room was not clean. The bathtub was stopped up so it barely drained. There were unhappy people everywhere because their rooms were just as bad. Nothing good about this place...

The price was reasonable That the toilet wasn’t clean, the floor was dirty and had hair on different areas of the floors, in the tub, the tub was dirty inside of it and on the side of it.. counter by the sink was dirty… the refrigerator was dirty!!! This was my second stay here… when I came for the first stay every thing was excellent but this time wasn’t great at all… had trouble with getting into my room went to the office twice to get access to get in the room!! Brown water came out the shower head when starting the shower as well!!
