Motel 6 Florence, SC

The room smelled really good. The staff is very pleasant. The only problem I have is that I was placed on the side close to the over pass and it loud on that side also, the occupants on that side are usually loud as well! I don't know if that side is designated for smokers but I don't want to be put on that side again.

They should tear this place down for.good .

Bad condition outside and inside

Reservation was for a non smoking room. Had to wait to checkin as police raided wrong room and staff was refunding people in room police mistakenly raided. Reserved a non smoking room, but room given was clearly a room that was smoked in. Staff was friendly and offered to refund my payment. Expedia was a disaster trying to reconcile and did not help to find alternative accommodations for myself and kids. Ended up paying twice as much for a room after stopping at numerous hotels looking for vacancy. I would not stay at this hotel but I would absolutely never use Expedia.

Cockroach friendly

Room needs an update, bugs and fly in room. There was a 1/4 “ gap at the room entrance door.

Closed do To health dept. Shady people hanging about. Will never stay there AGAIN!

Staff was very nice and helpful

Tv didn't have tubi or Netflix then the employee tried to argue that my room did had tubi and it didn't and the room on the sink had dead cockroaches on it and in the bathtube floor wasn't moped

I was only there one night.

I immediately did not feel safe at the property because of the vagrants walking around. I was also not happy with my room. It had a bad smell that reminded me of cigarettes. There was no remote control to operate the TV. The a/c ran too hot then too cold then too hot, etc... I saw 9 cockroaches (could only kill 6) which seemed quite excessive to me and there were a number of black flies attacking my food and my dog's food. The room seemed clean until I put on my glasses, then yuck! I knew that the accommodations would be iffy because of the price. I did not think it would be the worst unsettling hotel room I've ever stayed in.

The front counter lady only Roaches and crackheads

The 2nd room they put us in, the room itself was cleaner but there were still roaches and the TV was on when we went in but the remote didn't work that TV so we had to unplug the TV just to turn it off. The front staff was nice and polite. The woman named Stephanie was great.

I don't mind older places as long as they're clean. However, I saw two german roaches in our room...... That is not cool. I pray I don't have any hitchhikers........

I have to say, this is the best motel 6 I’ve stayed at. The tv is huge, beds comfortable, nice large tub/shower with plenty of hot water and really large bathroom vanity area with plenty of storage space throughout. Oh and multiple usb charger outlets. Oh and there’s even a laundry room. All for a super affordable rate with no pet fee. I will definitely stay here again when traveling.

Staff said room is non smoking, but when we enter the room, it has smoking smell. I think door lock could have been better. Microwave was there, but there is no plug near, we carry it to the sink and warm our food. But there is no other complain about the service. Internet was good, and staff was helpful.
