Spark by Hilton Florence North I-95, SC

There was nobody at the front desk to check in for about 5 minutes. The floor in the room was sticky. The breakfast was definitely substandard. I don't have a pet that travels with me, so I'd prefer non pet friendly accommodations.

I walked in exhausted there was one person at the check in counter and a line of people. As I was standing there awaiting my turn, I could not help but notice that the person behind the counter. She handled everyone quickly and politely. In spite of a couple of rude customers. As it was my turn I was greeted by Nicole who was professional, polite and helpful. Made my check in super quick. I don’t always leave an individual review on staff. But I was super impressed by how she handled the front desk. Big shout out to NICOLE! Thank you !!!

What I did not like is Wi-Fi, it is available but you have to file on line form to become member of a reward program, providing one’s email address and phone number. That is only negative aspect

The toilet of our first room was nasty. I showed splashes of doo doo under the seat and in the bowl. The lady on the front desk was awesome. She changed is to another room. Then we found that the sheets between the comforter and the fitted was missing. Not to mention that the body wash bottle was left empty on the sink counter. This falls under housekeeping. Someone needs to do some supervising. It's bad because the place was recently renovated and it actually looks nice.

Was ok for a quick overnight. Room was decent. Checkout was delayed and could not check in until 5 though check in is at 3. Breakfast was really limited and not replenished.

Hotel was clean and well maintained. Staff was helpful, but spent a great deal of time talking to friends and was constantly telling customers "to wait a few minutes". Breakfast was very bad, no eggs in the egg container, "enhanced water' was really water downed juice instead of real juice, meat was incredibly salty, to a point it was not edible. Good place to sleep but not eat.

Very nice hotel. Nice front desk clerk. Breakfast could had included eggs and bacon.

Pool was closed during my stay. I had to ask for coffee for breakfast. And they were out of creamer, lids and stirers. The floors in the room were sticky with residue. I won't be returning to a Hilton Hotel anytime soon.

My only minor complaint was that some foods had run out (milk for cereal, fresh fruits) when I got to breakfast (an hour before breakfast was to end).

Room clean and very comfortable. Staff friendly and accommodative. I felt very safe and will share with family and friends. Good job!

The staff was friendly when we checked in. The elevator was scary! It was dirty and lurched. We were never sure it would make it to the designated floor. The first room we were assigned had pizza or something like that on the floor. The floor in front of the door appeared to have urine or something yellow and glimmering on the floor. The nightstand had a tooth or something like it beside the phone. When i asked and explained, the staff member apologized and said we would be compensated in some way. The second room was not clean. The floor was sticky! We did not shower because the bathroom was not clean. The first room the toilet appeared to have feces in it. The second room the toilet appeared to have some form of bodily fluid on the sides. The towels were close to thread bare. One of my worst experiences ever! No contact from management or compensation.

This was the first time we'd needed a pet-friendly place to stay. We were so pleased with how appropriate the room was so that we could feel comfortable bringing in a big dog. The staff was so kind at breakfast and treated us like friends.

Was there on business and arrived early. They checked up in after a little wait. Didn't realize it was continental breakfast, but there is a Shoney across the street. Plenty of eating options around along with gas stations. Have to admit my room smelled old and moldy. Had to spray it down REAL good to get rid of the smell. Bed was comfortable and the area was nice and quiet. The weekend were there, they were busy so the parking was rather difficult, but it was ok. Nice stay all and all.

Clean, safe hotel. Salt water pool major plus! Pool was clean and seating area around the pool was nice. My room was clean and stocked, Netflix easily connected (always a plus when traveling with kids). Free breakfast was plentiful and restocked when items were low. 24 hour coffee service was on point! We stayed twice, on the way down to our destination and on our way back home. Would stay again! Thank you for a great stay x 2.
