Spark by Hilton Florence North I-95, SC

Hotel was horrible, from the front desk agent to the room. I checked in a hotel and didn’t even stay. I was back at the front desk within 10mins of touring the room. The shower was dirty, spider webs and bugs were in the corner of the room, toilet look like someone left pop stains in there. I went back to the front desk requesting a refund and the receptionists had little knowledge on anything. For every conversation she had her manager on standby asking him or her questions. I was offered another room but felt insanely uncomfortable with staying there. Management was no help and denied my refund. Mind you a room that was not sanitary for stay and a room I didn’t even sleep in. I checked in and checked out within 10mins. I will be doing a google review as well with the pictures and videos since it won’t allow me to upload videos here of the room. I would never consider this hotel. A waste of $100 and time booking.

The room was very clean. The staff was excellent. I would like to recommend that the breakfast that they provide in the morning have a gluten-free cereal, such Chex in addition to the other cereals that they have so that people that have celiac can at least have a small breakfast. This recommendation is for all the Hilton hotels.

Everything was Amszing

The first room that I was assigned to had some type of water leak may be from the adjacent room or possibly from the restroom. Don’t know it was in between the strips that separates the living quarters from the hallway so I was moved to a different room bedroom room that did not have an ironing board the first room had the ironing set up iron and ironing board, but the second room only had an iron. The state was OK for overnight trip.

This is my new go-to stop when traveling 95. Easily accessible from 95 with safe parking and ample dining options. Everything is very clean and spacious. Check in was flawless! Spacious room with comfortable bed and pillows. 24/7 coffee and tea- a huge shout out to the girl working overnight and being so friendly when I couldn’t sleep! Nice, maintained outdoor pool and good breakfast!

Upon entering our room, it was clean but it could have been cleaner. I noticed a large nail clipping by the sofa which turned me off. As a suggestion, I recommend their use a vacuum cleaner instead of relying on brooms and dust pans which I saw their carts carried.

Upon arrival, I was nicely greeted & the team was polite, however I could not enjoy the Honors welcome kit. Although this may seem small, it was an inconvenience after deliberately not purchasing water for my brief overnight stay. I was not offered another option or accommodation. The lobby was clean & clear but didn’t give the Hilton charm of relaxation I’m used to. Upon entering the room it was a cool 70 & the access key worked fine. However, the toilet still had light brown fecal matter markings inside. Additionally, the shower corners were dark black & appeared dirty. My family and I only had a limited time to prepare for our event, so we took care of it ourselves to stay on time. When we returned, I arrived to an alarmingly security concern of a back door being completely open with a large rock as a doorstop near the pool. We returned at 11. We entered & settled in for the night. This morning my family was told at breakfast around 9am that there was no more meat refills, bowls, or milk, and the watered down orange juice couldn’t be replaced because, “ it always tastes like that”. For $230, my family and I ate fruit and dried fruit loops. When I shared the above, I was not accommodated & told “Amber” didn’t have a number

The breakfast was very limited.

Couldn’t find the ice machine. It’s in a place no one would even think to look and there isn’t even a sign. Train coming through around 2 AM wasn’t pleasant. Staff was very kind and helpful.

Everything was great

Dirty, the breakfast counter was a mass at 8:20 in the morning. We were told that food can’t be refill because the kitchen is empty. Leaving the hotel couldn’t get a receipt because the printer and WiFi don’t work.

Just a seedy crowd that made me feel uncomfortable
