Residence Inn By Marriott Fort Collins

My room was under construction. I was told that when I checked in and got a small discount. It wasn’t very comfortable. Tv in the middle of the room, towels in the closet which I couldn’t open because there was a luggage rack wedged in the doorway.

Everything was just average. No stand out items during the stay. When we arrived and checked in there were no available parking spaces. The front lobby was not clearly marked and difficult to locate. The elevator wasn't working and the only options given to us were a room on the 3rd floor where we had to drag our luggage up 3 flights of stairs. They offered us a 1st floor room with no bathroom door which was unacceptable. The room had a portable AC unit it and the room we originally reserved was a king size bed and the room they provided had a queen size bed. The stove top was dirty as well. The staff offered us 10000 points which doesn't even amount to a free room in the future which I felt was clearly warranted due to all of the issues.

While the location, room styles, breakfast, and staff were good, the room was in need of an update. For instance, the counter height dining table was flanked by two regular height chairs - it was very strange. There was no storage at the bathroom sink. And two drawers in the closet nearby were filled with blankets and pillows so we couldn't use those for our toiletries. The toilet was very short similar to what you'd find in an older Interstate rest stop. The king bed was cramped for space. At the end of the bed, there was about 15"-18" between it and a totally unusable dresser that supported a TV. By the front door stood a narrow closet that could only house an empty suitcase. There was no shelving or hanging bar to make that space more useful. Thankfully the price was on the lower end so I guess it was a decent value. But we won't be choosing this hotel again.

Very nice surroundings and close to what we needed at Fort Collins We enjoyed our stay overall. The property was nice and the facilities were adequate, but the air-conditioning was not working. Portable units had been provided, however they were not really sufficient, and we were not told about the issue at check-in. The kitchen was useful, but the selection of utensils, cookware and crockery was quite limited for a room advertised with cooking facilities. Overall, a pleasant stay, but these areas could definitely be improved.

I love the convenience of staying at Residence Inn when i visit my mom in Ft Collins. The location is right around the corner from mom’s care facility. The staff is wonderful and the breakfast buffet is terrific.

Layout was a little odd compared to other hotels. Overall it was nice.

Convenient location, great service. Sofa bed poor quality. Teen son opted to use as a couch instead, he didn’t sleep well at all.

Spacious apartment. Good location. Friendly staff. Any door closing (mainly the two entry doors to the building) made the apartment vibrate besides the excessive noise! Breakfast was a little disappointing.
