Bahia Mar Ft. Lauderdale Beach- a DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel

Beach access

The hotel was okay but, was so dirty it ruined the trip. The carpet in our room was wet so we wore shoes the whole time, there was only a thin shower curtain that wouldn't stay up and had black dirt in it, the bathtub had hair and dirt so wasnt properly cleaned. The "balcony" was so small its more of a window and has salt damage so wasnt not attractive to look through. The rest of the hotel was okay but, them charging $55 for self park is more in line with an upscale hotel which this is not.

Buenismo todo

The room had been updated maybe 15 years ago and the walls had been painted over many times. Time to tear it down.

Hotel is good location. Looks like it has been updated. Pool on the roof was good the first day but very loud and crowded on the 4th.

The toilet in the room never flushed and was reported every day but nothing was done. The TV never worked in the room nor did it in many rooms while we were there per many of the guests that we talked to

Lisa at the registration desk was outstanding. Very helpful and genuinely nice. She helped deliver a birthday cake for my wife

Love love the pool! Rooms were nice and clean. Staff helpful. We come back every year.

Smelt very nice in lobby . Noticed one big cockroach in one room and a dead big one under the AC unit in another room! They won’t crawling everywhere but we still noticed them- I would suggest keeping your belongings on the tables and not the floor !

Staff and guest services were very friendly and helpful. The upkeep was not very good. There was litter around the property as it was a very busy week, the pool was very heavily used and not very well cleaned. It was clear that housekeeping did not vacuum when turning up the room. The condition of the towels was very poor, rips and stains on many of the swimming towels and bath towels in the rooms. I also think it’s exorbitant to charge $55 per day for parking of a vehicle on top of the room rate.

Decent Options

I loved it! The beach access is super convenient and the staff communication was on point. During my check in at 8pm, I had to get reassigned last minute Sue was super friendly and acknowledged the inconvenience I really appreciated the hospitality. Qadir also always made sure throughout my stay if I need anything! I definitely will be back Everything was great!!

Location to beach and to downtown I wanted a stand in shower

Room was clean. Staff was nice and helpful. Coffee shop should be considered to open earlier and breakfast for those that wake up early.

Walk to the beach was awkward. Had to pay for umbrella. Valet was understaffed.

Great location staff was friendly pool party was fun

The hotel staff were polite and friendly. The view of the beach was priceless. I enjoyed the short walk to such a beautiful beach spot. The parking is very expensive, especially for the self parking.

Great location for attending a swim meet. Very clean with helpful and attentive staff.
