Hotel Maren Fort Lauderdale Beach, Curio Collection by Hilton

Had some issues upon arrival but the staff handled what they could at the time and turned a not so great first impression into a great stay. Hotel was clean and staff way kind and willing to help.

The hotel was amazing excellent customer service. The valet team was on point definitely will come back to stay again. Excellent location as well.

Amazing place with view in front of the beach

The location was great. Our room was cleaned every day, but something wasn't restocked every day ( towels, water, coffee, or soap in the shower). Also, one reason we booked the hotel was because they had a restaurant and bar, and good reviews. When we arrived, we were told the restaurant was in the process of changing over so there was a limited menu and the bar was barely stocked, and the pool restaurant and bar was only open one day out of the nine days we were there. Huge disappointment. I will say the staff was excellent, don't change a thing! Overall, it was good, location really can't be beat.

We have been going to the Maren for a few years now in early September and have had excellent experiences. The trip we just completed was a mess. We just hope the new owners get this "transition" in good order very quickly so the hotel is what it used to be or better!

All staff was helpful, professional, attentive and just all around nice (Sean, Casandra, Chakira). Oceanfront with great views and in close proximity to restaurants and night life. No complaints

The room was clean and comfortable with a nice view! The staff was very nice and kind to us. The hotel is located in front of the beach, which was wonderful. The swimming pool was very good, with a beautiful view of the beach! There are several places nearby to eat and drink without taking the car. The hotel offers towels for the beach and swimming pool. The room was for 3 people but only 2 chairs were available at the beach (an extra chair and umbrella should be payed for, although we were charged the Resort Tax already). The restaurant at the pool level should stay open longer and offer the dishes listed on the menu. The parking was too expensive.

The room was like the photos, very clean and super well located

Great location, clean rooms and most of the staff were good. One grumpy lady at the desk. The bed was so hard and uncomfortable that non of us slept much the whole trip. I asked if there was anything available with a softer bed/pillows but all room are the same. Even my kid said the bed made his body hurt. The first day we had booked lunch for a group of 6 of us. They had multiple items on the very small menu not available. I don’t drink but… they had only 2 kinds of beer including bud light and Modello. No vodka. Wine was cheaper. We ended up going elsewhere after drinks. Room service was near impossible to reach by phone. We had to cancel our breakfast in the day we left because we had ordered via voicemail and it never came. We left a 2nd voicemail to cancel it.

The place could use a proper concierge, however. Reading lights for the bed would also be nice.
