The location was good and staff were super friendly! Shout out to Jory, she was awesome and super helpful. Tons of adorable little blizzards scampering around The first room we were given, which I believe was the lowest tier queen/king immediately gave me anxiety. There was no windows in the bedroom area, only the door to directly outside which was glass with a film over it to give privacy. After a long day of travel we laid down… but 15 minutes later had to ask for a room change due to an overwhelming scent of chlorine. We didn’t want to be a bother but my throat and eyes were burning. Thankfully we were moved to a different room which had space and windows and was so much better. Highly recommend starting at the studio level for rooms (with the kitchenette) so you don’t feel like you’re stuck in a box. That being said everything furniture and fixture wise are very run down/well used. Though I believe things were clean, it wasnt quality compared to a large chain hotel. You get what you pay for I suppose. New room more relaxed… toilet was clogged and we hadn’t even used it. Thankfully that was resolved quickly. Another weird thing with this hotel is that there is no do not disturb sign. We stayed in our hotel through the day and explored in the evening to escape summer heat. Each and every day housekeeping would bang on our door, loudly and repetitive until we answered. While I appreciate being asked if we need towels, we do not need to be startled awake during a nap, or lunch, or generally to do so. One of those occasions, we were asked if we had trash, we said “oh maybe we’ll take care of it” and housekeeping literally barged into our room, past my partner, and took our trash. Like, love the initiative, but we did not say it was okay to enter, had said we were all set and thankfully no one was indisposed or changing. It’s pretty damn unacceptable really. We also had an issue with noise from the adjoining room, which thankfully staff was very responsive in attending to, but then staff proceeded to pound on our door at 6:00 am to tell us the issue was taken care of….

The room is more modest than the photos suggest. At 250 sq ft it's normal for four people, not spacious, so set expectations accordingly. What's listed as a kitchenette is a closet with a small fridge, a microwave and a coffee maker. Supplies were minimal: four disposable cups and nothing else, and the coffee creamer had dried out and couldn't be used. There's no ice machine on the property — you have to walk to another hotel of the same group on the corner, which isn't practical. Two maintenance items: there was standing water on the hallway floor right outside our door, apparently from the air conditioning, and some sand on the room floor at check-in. Location is good, a short walk to the beach, and the price was fair for August. It works for a one-night stay if you treat it as simple lodging near the sand. If you're expecting a functional kitchen or resort-level upkeep, this isn't it.

The room was very dim. Just one light. Needs some updating too. Pool was dirty. In our room they removed the fire alarm, was none in there.( Weird). Our window had a huge crack and the door handle looks like someone tried prying it open.

The ceiling in the bathroom was leaking and the tub looked dirty and paint was peeling from the tub when water was running

JORY & CORY are the BEST. Their hospitality skills & professionalism should be recognized. I damaged my Foot & was on crutches & a cane. They accommodated my free early check in & because I couldn't go up steps, Upgraded me to a better room on 1st floor close to entrance. That helped me immensely. Thanks Girls. Keep up the good work.
