Cambria Hotel Fort Lauderdale Beach

Clean , conveniently located

We had a wonderful time at Cambria. The bed was comfortable, and the hot water in the shower was a huge plus. The valet service was also top-notch.

View was nice .. that’s about it. Jeff (front staff) was not very friendly, barely smiled, and did not try much to help our situation. However, the manager did his best to help in our situation which is all we can ask for and he was kind to us. Towels were dirty and stained when we first got in the room, floors were dusty and did not look recently swept, Bluetooth mirror did not work, barely any hot water in the shower and “rainfall shower head” only had 2 working settings and neither was the waterfall setting. The pool was extremely small & so are the balconies. A/C sucked, it got very hot in the middle of the night and the housekeepers were sooo loud in the mornings. Oh also, wasn’t privy to this but parking is Valet only at $39 per day. On the bright side, very centralized location, nice view for the price we paid. Valet people were nice especially Julio (something J, I’m not sure if that’s his name; but he gave us free drink cards) 4/10, idk if I’d recommend.

The hotel it self is a nice hotel in a prime location, the issue was with the lack of attempt or follow up regarding an issue we had with the water temperature. Cool to room temperature showers over the course of a stay with no resolution of sincere apology and effort to accommodate is what really turned our experience from a great one to a disappointing experience. Front desk staff was ok but not very helpful...one one rep the really looked like he wanted to be there and give great service, the others lacked that friendly interaction you expect to receive from the front desk. Manager while nice was also not very solution oriented either.

My husband and I stayed here for the weekend and it was a very good stay. Upon arrival into the lobby it has an amazing smell and the staff were welcoming. The room was clean and nice, nothing spectacular but the bed was the best thing about the stay. The bluetooth mirror in the bathroom was a nice touch, loved the stones in the shower and it had nice water pressure. My only issue with the room was the AC. It seems to not get cold like many of us know hotels to get. Had a maintenance guy(extremely nice) come in and change the filter and it was better, but still not cold the way it should have been. The pool was nice, although not a true rooftop pool. Its more so on the side of the building. The beach is just minutes away, but not near the strip with all the restaurants/ bars. We had breakfast on our last day there and it was good.

Everything was excellent.

No housekeeping for 4 days despite being asked at check in which day I wanted housekeeping to come. Reception sent me onslaught of automated bot messages but when I messaged them 5 times to ask about room cleaning I received no response.

Staff needs training. Don't think I will be staying again.

Hotel was great, It was clean the staff was nice and friendly. The hotel is very high tech love the view from my room. Will visit again in the future.

Great hotel , great location

There's literally nothing to do nearby, you have to walk at least 30 minutes to the closest convenience store. There was a team of teenagers staying in the rooms adjacent to ours and they would be slamming the doors until like 2 am. If you are trying to have a quiet and active stay this isn't your the correct one.

The charges for hotel guests was expensive

No hot water it’s my biggest complaint. It is hard to shower with lukewarm water. We stayed from Wednesday to Sunday and no hot water at any given time was very disappointing. Other than that the hotel was good.
