Sun Tower Hotel & Suites on the Beach

The facility is amazing! Charges between booking.com and the resort are shady. It should be 1 clear charge and the room hold. That would be pretty clear. One charge when arriving, the room hold, another different charge when you leave. I'm just waiting for the charges to clear up on my account to be sure how much I really paid . The parking fee: freaking stilling!

My stay at Sun Towers was a wonderful get away... I love the resort, the staff was exceptional and the rooms, grounds were fabulous. Food was above average and absolutely delicious. I did have an issue either my tv and given the rainy weekend it was a must for me... upon check out I was compensated with a partial refund, still waiting for that to post to my credit card, but I am sure it will be resolved soon! Otherwise, I would give this property a 10/10

"Sneaky", exorbitant, additional fees -parking @ $50/day with no viable other options -resort fees (although identified as "included" in the booking), were added for an additional $100

Been staying for the years, shabby chic has become more chic. The restaurant , Sandbar Grille, continues to be a treat for guests and locals in the know. Parking, which was free for years , increasing to $25.00 last year and is now $50.00 per day

Beautiful and very clean hotel right in the sand. I’m a local and this is the only hotel I always go to for our staycations. It’s my absolute favorite place to go.

Property was beautiful! Only complaint was we were told we would get a text when our room was ready but never received one. I would definitely stay there again. The restaurant that is attached was so good! Very friendly staff.

The negatives, halls/staircases seem outdated. The water in the toilet/sink/bathtub was yellow. Made us feel like urine remained in the toilet. Our tv/WiFi was out of commission for a full day of our travel. We stayed in during a thunderstorm and couldn’t watch anything.. when we asked about it, they apologized…but said it wasn’t an issue for everyone so it was just us which was more frustrating. I would probably stay here again because of the price/location. The staff were pretty nice.. especially the staff in the restaurant.

Fairly old property. But getting some recent renovations and it’s on the beach. The food was pretty good at the grill but a lot of it was fried and heavy. Nice drinks. Chairs were not comfortable in the bar or restaurant area. Room was comfortable and spacious, new flooring, bed was nice, but they need to work on the plumbing. Clogged up shower drain and toilet/sink really slow. TV didn’t automatically connect to WiFi.
