Stayed at Plunge for a beach front wedding weekend. It’s a great location, walkable to shops and restaurants. Stayed in the Bungalows and appreciated how close we were to the beach, the beach bar, and the pool. Would definitely stay here again!

The location was convenient and the property looks nice from the outside Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. The front desk employee at check-in was extremely rude and dismissive. We had booked only a few hours before arriving, so when there seemed to be some confusion with our reservation, I politely asked if there was a problem or if our room was not ready. Instead of simply explaining, she responded rudely and made me feel as though I had no right to ask what was happening with my own reservation. We also declined the $25 parking charge and were told it would be removed, but it was still on our bill at checkout. The room was disappointing for the price. The air conditioner was extremely loud all night and the room was very cold, making it difficult to sleep. The hotel also felt dated compared with what we expected from the photos, ratings, and price. The front desk staff at checkout were also unfriendly and unwelcoming. For around $200 for one night, we expected much better service and comfort. The worst part of our stay was the attitude of the front desk staff.

Location This hotel is ‘okay’ hotel with wonderful private beach but it’s not a four star hotel, it’s fold 2.5 stars of maybe 3 stars thanks to a wonderful beach and very nice people working on a beach. All pictures on booking.com are misleading and are very far from a real hotel.

Marie and Suzette were excellent at check in. The rooms were very clean! You never need to leave the property bcuz the pool, beach and bar are all right there! Brian was such a great bartender and we will be back just to see him!

The breakfast restaurant inside the hotel is amazing! We have an adorable coffee shop in the lobby as well. Beach access is perfect! Overall loved it.!

the location was excellent close to grocery store and shopping, restaurants , room was right on the pool as well as pool. Pool/ Beach staff were very helpful. Reception was excellent with helpful tips.Liked that beach lounge chairs , umbrellas and towels were included Bathroom needs updating , water pressure in shower was poor , Ac in room was inconsistent , balcony was small , room could have used a small table and chair. Chair in room was heavy and awkward and the cushion was flat unable to sit comfortably, furniture was outdated.

Liked beachfront and terrace with view even in the rain we could sit outside. Yes, it rained every day. Rooms were clean. Liked the artwork across the street. Too close to the bar, too much bar noise for a pricey room. Resort was ok but nothing extraordinary. Too many undocumented fees. Parking fee $25 a night when on street parking 100 feet away. Activities fee $22 a day, it rained every day… not likely to return.

We had an awesome stay! Everyone was so friendly and resort was amazing!

The location is perfect, right on a beach! Not overcrowded, relaxing and comfortable. Beach towels, umbrellas and lounge chairs were provided. Loved a small art gallery in the lobby of the main building. I wasn’t expecting for music from the bar and swimming pools to keep me awake and also I could hear people talking and using hair dryer above our room , not to mention them watching tv very loudly. I would appreciate having better sound barrier materials installed in the room

Bed was extremely comfortable and front desk staff was very accommodating. Wish had beachfront room.

The hotel is very good; my dissatisfaction is with Booking.com. They confirmed my reservation at the Holiday Inn, but when I arrived, there was no booking. This happened in New York in June, and I’ve decided not to do business with them anymore.
