Americas Best Value Inn Ft. Myers

No breakfast. The waffle makers were broken. The batter was out. No milk. Water for orange juice. One muffin for multiple people. Toilet would not flush. No on on site. Pool was dirty. The lobby bathroom was locked. Worn out furniture.

The large room was clean Easy parking The shade made the room too dark and we could not see out the windows also talking to a machine doing check in and out. Could not get a good night sleep because of the music next door

Check in 3pm Check out 11am The mattress appeared either brand new or well kept (we always check under the sheets). I didn't think hotels provided daily cleaning anymore, but we were pleasantly surprised to find a clean towels and our bed was made when we returned late at night to the room. The courtesy breakfast offered little choices (coffee, juice, cereal, muffins, and waffles) but for a free bite on the way out the door for the day, I have no complaints. The front desk staff is on-site, but uses a computer video kiosk to communicate. That was an interesting first I've seen. For a holiday weekend, it was pretty empty with only a half dozen or so other guests from what we saw. There is a sports bar to the due north that played loud music, but we didn't hear it at all when we entered our room on the south side of the building. The window black out curtains were phenomenal. Thought it was night out during the broad daytime. Nothing. All was great.

It was a great location for us at a cheap price for 2 nights. The room was basic, but clean and comfortable. That is all we were seeking as we only slept there at night during a quick last minute weekend get away. If you are looking for a no frills hotel room at an incredibly affordable price, this place absolutely works perfectly!
