After a long day at the hospital, we returned to our room to find that the air conditioning was broken and we would need to move to a different room. The front desk staff person who came to check on our room essentially accused us of “messing” with the panel and somehow breaking the unit. When he finally conceded that the air conditioning was broken, he never acknowledged the inconvenience, did not offer assistance to change rooms, and simply dropped off a new key. When I later asked to speak with the manager, I was met by hostility and an utter lack of professionalism from the manager. Not only did the she aggressively say “What do you want to talk to me about?” and fail to apologize for the inconvenience, she also proceeded to accuse us of lying when we told her that he had insinuated that we had messed with the panel and broken it. She then had the audacity to say that she would “check the camera later” to make sure that we were telling the truth about our interaction with the other staff person. Threatening us about having cameras in a hotel room? Her response made us feel like we were criminals because THEIR AC unit was broken. Do not recommend.

We always choose this when traveling through fort smith/van buren. The rooms are large, everything is modern. Huge shower, no tub and curtain. The breakfast is served by the chef (make sure you look above the serving station for fresh pastries and scones). There’s a gluten free section and oat and almond milk alternatives. The indoor pool has comfy loungers. The staff is friendly and happy. Always a great experience.

The property was very clean and well maintained. The check in and check out went without a hitch. Breakfast was above average for hotel offerings and the cook was so accommodating cooking eggs on the spot. I will be back!!

Pleasant, modern and comfortable hotel: Awesome shower, comfortable beds and bedding. Quiet room. I appreciated the body wash and shampoo dispensers in shower stall. Nice fresh towels. Free cookies. When a/c was not circulating room smelled of dog. Breakfast items, although a wide variety that looked appetizing were disappointingly served cold. Coffee was lukewarm and very weak. We ate at nearby Panera.

Our room was beautiful, spacious, exceptionally clean, and equipped with everything we needed. The kitchenette included plates, bowls, glasses, silverware, pots, pans, a stovetop, and a dishwasher, which was incredibly convenient for a family. The room also had a spacious walk-in shower, very comfortable beds, a sleeper sofa, and an efficient, easy-to-control HVAC system. The complimentary breakfast was fresh, delicious, and offered a great variety for both adults and children. Our kids also loved the indoor pool and the many games available throughout the hotel. The entire building and grounds were clean, attractive, and well maintained. We were impressed by the excellent selection and reasonable prices of the drinks and snacks available for purchase. The premium outdoor grilling area and cozy fire pit were also wonderful features that made the property feel especially inviting. This hotel offers an exceptional combination of comfort, cleanliness, convenience, family-friendly amenities, and first-class hospitality. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Fort Smith. A truly five-star experience.
