Best Western Luxbury Inn Fort Wayne

Wifi is good, pretty good breakfast. Surprise "Third party booking fee" charged at check in for booking with booking.com. This is not disclosed in the listing. The management couldn't show me any mention of a booking fee in the listing but refused to check us in without charging us for it.

Breakfast was good. Rates were reasonable Staff was very put off when I needed help with the ac in my room. I also had problems with a lamp and that seemed to be a problem as well

Room was really big. I had a king suite and so comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful with so many choices.

Overall, it was a very good stay at the hotel, except for one major problem. There was no hot water in the bathroom sink and I reported it three times with no results. The room was clean. The staff tried to get the problem fixed but being a weekend there was no maintenance available. Their breakfast was outstanding and the coffee was probably the best we had during the trip.

It was a decent stay. I hate hotel bed only because I'm use to a foam matress and not one with springs. The hotel.staff was great. Room was clean.

Everything was excellent

The rooms were clean with the exception of the hallways. The carpet in the hallways were very dirty. It may do them better to have vinyl plank floors in the future. The food was good, they offered Biscuits and sausage gravy and bacon one morning and omelette and sausage another and all the fixings, plus the regular grab and go items and waffles. The staff was very friendly and attentive with anything we needed. We stayed on the 3rd floor. The end of the hallway room by the stairs must be where the owners live. The smell of curry throughout the hallways was off putting. I like my room cold and the air conditioner worked well. Overall it is a good place to stay and a great price.

A fine hotel for a quick night stay

Excellent location, poorly maintained hotel. Poor management. Looks like someone with no skills has tried to make repairs. Giant brown stain on shower ceiling, chipped furniture, scraped walls, filthy elevator, etc. Lots of construction workers stay every night, turning the grassy area by parking lot into a BBQ and booze area. Smell of pot inside. Barking dog down our hall. No hot water at sink. Check in clerk was sitting on the counter on his phone, and when finally got down to take our info, laid across the desk to use the computer. 6% charge for using internet booking services. Much better options nearby.
