Holiday Inn Express & Suites Fort Wayne by IHG

I always stay at the Holiday Inn Express, regardless of the city. They provide great service in all categories, but their breakfast buffet is the best!!!

The buffet breakfasts are always the best!!

Close to my family Dirty bathroom. Broken couch. Hair in the tub.

I loved the size of the room. The couch was comfy to sit on. The breakfast wasn’t the best. The bananas were brown. I opened one and half of it was rotten. The cinnamon rolls and biscuits were dried out and not fresh.

When we come to Ft Wayne, we usually stay at this property and always have been pleased, however after this last stay we weren't as pleased as we normally are. Our room was kinda dirty with crumbs on the floor and our sheets and blankets on the beds were fairly stained.

Hotel was south of the stadium, but was comfortable, pillows were great. I wish I would have bought a couple. Slept great!!!!

Fire alarm went off at 5:45am, reason unexplained. People hang out outside of hotel at the front, side, and in back at all times of day. It feels like it's in a business district, and is secluded but in a bad way. Our room view was of a rain drain.

Everyone who works here was kind and took pride in their facility.

The hand soap at the sink was empty. The air was at 65 degree and running when we arrived. Very cold. Otherwise, clean room, comfortable bed and friendly staff.

The staff was friendly. The breakfasts were good, different both mornings. Our room could have been cleaned a lot better. The floor was a bit dusty/dirty. Parts of the bathroom could have been cleaned better. The back of the bathroom door and handle needed a good cleaning. The shower drain was great but the sink drained slowly. I posted a note for the cleaning person, but nothing was done about it or mentioned to us the rest of our stay. I left the note on the bathroom mirror. (Unfortunately, I forgot to mention it to the front desk person.) It could have been because it was the weekend. We were there for 2 nights. Also, our room door was difficult to open and didn't automatically close behind you. Overall, not one of our better stays in a hotel. I don't think we will stay there again. There are other hotels to choose from in the area.

The night desk clerk was amazing. The power went out 5 minutes after checking in due to a storm. The generator would not start. The clerk helped everyone who came in the door, get thier room, help carry thier baggage up the stairs, trying to get results from local power company, and owner to resolve the issues. She did all this with a very positive attitude. She was outstanding.

Stay was great, no issues.

Very spacious clean and comfortable room! The bed and linens were very comfortable and the breakfast and good options.
