Super 8 by Wyndham Fort Worth Stockyards

When we arrived the manager was covered in hair dye as she was busy dying her hair and eyebrows, after the initial inability to find our reservation we were given our room, basic is an understatement no coffee machine or kettle or anything, bed was comfy but the bathroom floor needed a good scrub, bathtub old and dated shower was ok, not much in the way of toiletries a bar of soap and whatever the bottle had on the wall, towels provided were clean n fresh, but unfortunately the bloody big cockroach was an unwelcome addition to our stay!! And when I told the manager she laughed, hubby splatted it but that did it for me I wanted out, breakfast was pitiful just toast, so we didn’t bother, there’s a McDs and a cracker barrel so at least we had breakfast. It’s expensive for what you get, we won’t stay there again, lesson learnt the roaches are welcome to have the room :-/

I have never stayed at a filthier hotel. We ordered food to our room before our event. When we got back, roaches were feasting on a few crumbs in front of the table. Cleaned it all up and got the food out of the room asap. Brown grime on everything in the bathroom as if no one has taken the time to wipe down the bathroom fixtures for many years/decades. Dirty sheets with blood on pillow cases, top and bottom sheets. Fortunately, we had a double room and the other bed appeared clean enough to sleep on since it was too late to move after midnight. I felt sorry for everyone staying here, especially children. I will never stay here again. Didn't expect shiny and new for the price, but definitely expected a clean room. Super 8, Stockyards, Fort Worth, TX did not deliver. Gross.

Exceptional

The rooms need maintenance, the bathroom sink was cracked, the bath tub was old and gross. If you are not very particular with cleanliness it will be ok for you. Also the area is a little bit sketchy, a bunch of people hang out in the parking lot in the middle of the night and they look like thugs

Prostitutes and Drugs being ran out of the hotel made for many many unwelcoming individuals and I got into two different altercations in the parking lot. I went to extend my stay and they tried to charge me nearly double for the weekend vs. What I paid for the entire week. Hotel staff is horrible rude and improperly trained.

The cleanliness and the lack of breakfast

Um, it was a room! There were crackheads staying there. The water was off when we got there due to a leak. The breakfast had toast......literally toast or dry cereal....... There was a lady yelling at the clerk when we left about drug dealers trying to sell her stuff knocking on her door. The elevator smelled like weed very strong. There was trash on the floors.

Convenient from DFW Reeked of cigarettes, cigarette burns in linen and furniture, found cigarette buds in the room and elevator, insects in the bathtub.

The pool To many lizards!

Quiet.No problems. The value, safety, and attentive housekeeping and managers.

No breakfast but they claim they have it. They say continental breakfast yet only had juice wth will not stay here again.

Really need to spray for cockroaches and crickets etc. The insects

Room was pretty rough, bathroom door was very hard to open and close. The toilet was very loud. The blankets and sheets had cigarette burns on them. We had a non smoking room. The pool was full of leaves and feathers. The a/c didn’t work very well. Quite a few roaches too. Also the free breakfast was just toast, coffee and 2 kinds of cereal.

So arrived to a person complaining already about the pool. I went to the pool and i told the manager that that person had a point so many leaves, trash and chairs not wiped down. The manager said he would take care of it but didnt.the next they had a landscaping company out blowing all the trash and leaves. What i found interesting is they did pick anything up. Everything was back trash and leaves. The pool never got clean. I didnt run into the same manager again but its pretty much run by his family. The room was clean but the bathroom door was so bad it didn't close. I didn't bother bringing it up. Over all I didnt have a problem it was in the middle of where I needed to go. The regular workers not family were nice

Moved from first room. Just nasty and commode and toilet seat nasty looking. 2nd room -- Bathroom door had holes in it. Floor was so nasty I used house shampoo to MOP. Elevator floor never moped in 4 days. Have pictures of all of this NASTINESS.

Nothing Roaches. Wouldn't refund my money for the night smelled something awful.
