Rooms are spacious and well equipped and the hotel amenities including laundry room and breakfast are very convenient. Staff were helpful and pleasant Wifi was highly unstable, pool could be cleaned more frequently

Our room was large and had the basic supplies. Just enough for 2 guests. The transistion from the carpeted area to the tile area was a bit uneven. But the worse issue was the bedding. One sheet was white, while the others and the comforter were at best beige. I don't think they ever wash the comforter and I didn't want it anywhere near me. It was very grungy. The carpet was worn and dirty. Overall, we felt safe there and it was quiet and the breakfast got the day started in the right direction.

We were assigned an ADA room even though we didn’t request one. The room itself was fine, but it felt like we were given an “okay” room rather than the best available. The floor was noticeably dirty, which was frustrating since I take my shoes off when entering. I also noticed a faint smell of smoke in the room—clearly someone had smoked there previously—and while the hotel tried to cover it, the odor was still present. There was no daily room service, though we were able to get fresh towels after a day or so. Breakfast was good, and the laundry facilities were convenient. Internet speeds were generally fine, but slowed down significantly during peak evening hours (around 6–10 PM). The stay had some positives, but the room condition and smoke smell made the experience less comfortable than expected.

The parking charge for unreserved uncovered spaces in an outdoor lot surrounding the buildings is just a way to make revenue but make rates look better on the website. Everyone complains about the card keys that don’t work and require re-keying multiple times. It is pet friendly and bags are provided but too many dog owners are not cleaning up after their dogs and it’s gross. Watch where you step. I blame the hotel guests but if the hotel is going to allow pets, then maintenance staff needs to clean up on a more frequent basis.

The room was comfortable and clean as was the bed. The only thing I didn’t like was being close to the freeway and all the noise associated with that. I had thought we had an upgrade that would put us in a room away from there but that didn’t happen. It is really noisy and maybe the city should build a retaining wall to help with the noise. Not something easily fixed I know. That is the only reason you didn’t have the highest score from me. The office staff were so kind. We didn’t eat breakfast so I can’t rate it and we didn’t get around to the pool either but it looked nice when we walked around. The grounds are so well maintained the property looks amazing.

It was ok. The lights would turn on on their own and that was annoying

Unfortunately, our stay was not what we expected. As soon as we entered the room, there was a very strong tobacco smell. We had our 5-year-old with us, and even he said he hated the smell of the room. It was that noticeable. The carpet was extremely old, dirty, stained, ripped, and had holes in several places. The bed cover was also ripped and looked very dirty, with holes in it. Overall, the room felt like it needed a serious update and better maintenance. The room itself was large and had a kitchen, which was nice, but the bathroom had several issues. The light was extremely dim, and there were many baby pins/staples sticking out of the walls, which felt unsafe, especially with a young child. I have no idea why they were there, but they definitely need to be removed. The bathtub also had rust stains, and the light around the sink/mirror was not working properly, making it very difficult to do your makeup or even wash comfortably. The light would not stay on. We also didn’t find the included breakfast very appealing, so we ended up skipping it. On the positive side, the staff was very nice, parking was only $10 per night, and the location was convenient and close to Huntington Beach. Unfortunately, because of the condition and cleanliness of the room, we would not stay here again. 😕

got there and the room smelled like throw up and alcohol. staff said rooms were sold out and we had to argue for a refund ,
-
Dog poop on the grass everywhere and Fountain Valley charges a daily $14 fee tax for staying at a hotel in that zip code, probably the same in other areas though.

I like the fact that it was a two bedroom I didn’t like how dirty the room was how dusty it was smoke detectors didn’t work. There was no iron no towels. There was things all over the carpet. They look like poop stains.

Great place to be

Our stay started out nice until I got bit by an ant in our bathroom. Turns out there were hundreds of them! Also our tv remote didn’t work so they brought more and none of those worked. They wouldn’t give us any discounts or comps because we booked through a third party. The staff were nice and the property was well taken care of care of.

This place is ok. If you want fancy, modern rooms, this is not the place. If you want a bed to sleep in and a good breakfast, this is the place. Hot water is minimal so if your group takes hot showers anyone after the first will get a cold shower. Also, depending on your room, there is a lot of freeway noise. For the price it’s fine but don’t expect fancy

Love that the room has 2 bedrooms, kitchen and living room. The breakfast was awesome.
