It’s a lovely place within easy reach. It’s quiet and beautiful. They have a lovely breakfast spread and wished I could have had time to come back for their 3pm cake and tea. The room we had did not have a lot of plug points for gadgets.

Everything. What a joy. It’s just round the corner from the main high street but feels like it’s miles away. The room was lovely and spacious with a very good size bathroom and dressing area. The pool is small but very private and quiet. Fabulous breakfast and wonderful staff. Nothing

Thoughtful staff who made our stay memorable, brilliant breakfast off a menu, really great location. Just of note, the pool doesn't get much sunshine during the evening when you might want to use it. Hairdryer didn't work but I'm sure that would have been replaced if we asked!

Literally everything it was perfect stay! Absolutely nothing!

Room was lovely, well taken care of, breakfast delicious and the staff quite attentive. The biggest issue was that the Plumwood Hotel was being renovated so when we arrived we were told staying there was impossible because the beds had been removed for the renovation. Happily they quickly added that they had moved our booking to a sister property called the Chapter House which was a few blocks away from the Plumwood abd even nicer than the Plumwood. In the end it was fine but there was a moment of panic when it wasn't clear we had any place to stay. I don't know who dropped the ball Booking .com or Plumwood but we were never notified.

Everything! Literally all was perfect, staff care, breakfast, room, heating, garden, support, nature, environment, everything. Nothing.

Quiet and safe Beautiful decor Lovely courtyard with pool and breakfast eating area Food was fresh and good Cookies in room when we arrived were stale

Lovely traditional style room and outdoor pool.

There was a misunderstanding about the definition of a superior luxury room which we thought meant a top floor room with spectacular mountain views. However we were offered a ground floor room with no mountain view. We accepted a transfer to their other hotel in Franschhoek (Chapter House) at no additional cost. We would love to return to Plumwood in the future, but they plan to upgrade it from 4 to 5 stars and are increasing the room rates dramatically, beyond what we would consider paying.

Very well positioned, clean and comfortable. Very helpful and friendly staff. Liked the roof terrace and view of Table Mountain.

Small and personal Nothing

We enjoyed our time at the Plumwood Boutique, the rooms were spacious, modern and benefit from having a large bathroom, with a shower and bath. We loved the view of the mountains from the balcony. The guest house has two pools and plenty of sun beds around the larger pool. The breakfast selection was superb, so much choice and cooked perfectly! We loved the complementary cake, cold and hot drinks in the afternoon and the honestly bar! A nice touch. The staff were brilliant, very attentive and always on hand if you needed them. Nothing

Lovely Boutique hotel close by all amenities. Beautiful gardens and two pools to relax by. Friendly staff, good breakfast with a choice of eggs. Also an excellent spa in a nearby sister hotel. Carpet was grubby in room.

An excellent small colonial style hotel with lots of character. Situated in a quiet and safe neighbourhood but five minutes walk to the centre of Franschhoeck and lots of restaurants and 15 minutes walk from the Wine Tram terminus. The staff are friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent. Our room had a balcony with stunning views across the mountains and valley. Safe parking available. Good sized pool with lots of sunbeds. Nothing
