Wonderful location right downtown so can walk to restaurants, wineries, etc.) Breakfast was fantastic and secure parking. Property getting dated and you can tell they value other properties more (eg, the flagship Leeu Estates). Nice pool, but looks old. Carpet was worn and stained — not what you’re expecting at a hotel for $600/night in South Africa. Bathroom nice, but again looks dated. Overall, it was fine, but I’d recommend going upmarket or staying at a more budget place in Franschhoek.

Hotel staff were amazing, Conrad and his team went above and beyond to make our anniversary special. Room was so plush and comfy, gardens are beautiful. Dinner at Epice is a MUST! Protege breakfast was excellent.

Everything. The room was large. Bed was very comfortable. We asked for a Bath and Shower. My partner loved the bath and the shower was great. Only slight negative. They cleaned the place but we thought the option of not replacing some towels would be good. We could have missed what to do but we wouldn’t have all towels replaced.

Bedrooms where lovely and well appointed. On arrival the lounge reception and cocktail bar sets the tone of the property The parking at the back of the property was difficult to navigate when leaving as the electric security gates open towards the vehicle. The bathroom shower needed to be cleaned properly and had black algae. When we left and loaded our luggage - there was only one person around from the team and they did not even get up to see us off or say goodbye. For an exclusive property of this nature the level of customer engagement was very low and concerning
