The only reason I stay at this particular hotel is because it is within walking distance to a lot of places we go when we visit our family here. However, after paying such a high price for one night and to not have a breakfast included and for the TV to not work during the entire stay is extremely frustrating given the cost. In addition, the front desk staff did not properly check us out in the morning and then proceeded to charge my card for the room again after I had already paid in full at the time of booking. To be quite honest I think I should be comped a portion of the cost of the room. As when I tried to call to address the TV not working, no one answered guest services after several attempts to call. We couldn’t even get netflix to work, no internet. Cost is entirely to high for anything to not be working during the stay.

Big clean room. Older bathroom needs remodel. I didn't know any hotel still had a tub.

The front desk staff confused the check in, charging me when the stay had already been prepaid. This led to four interactions, one phone call, and one email to clear a “second” incidentals hold. Pretty much ruined my week.

Quiet all inclusive site close to everything downtown.

Room was great. Just a little bit of work being done on the property. But it didn’t impact my stay.

Did not like parking and having a charge felt like cost of room parking should be incl in room fee did not like lights in room ice machine on 4floor broken

Excellent downtown location, close to UMW and lots of nearby shopping, restaurants and cultural experiences.

Property was under renovation and was not very clean and construction equipment was just sitting around

The hotel is under renovation so I experienced a very damp musky smell in the room.

The location of this hotel is great! We spent only one night so we didn’t take advantage of lots of the amenities. The staff was really great every time we interacted. Will stay here again.

Exceptional

The desk staff were very nice. The location was convenient. It was noisy. To further complicate matters, between 7:30-8 am, some workers were banging on doors and shouting out in the hallways. It may have been some sort of fire inspection of sorts…but typical- not an emergency. They knocked on our doors and woke us. Our checkout was not until 11 am! Horrible!! Also, breakfast is NOT included and prices for food were very high.
