Hyatt Place Fredericksburg at Mary Washington

When checking in we noticed that the deadbolt on our door wasn’t locking. We asked for and received a new room where the deadbolt didn’t lock either. The walls are paper thin and we could hear all our neighbors. The toilet flusher wasn’t attached to the toilet but somehow still managed to flush. The tv was non functional. The water temp couldn’t be changed.

Suite was perfect for our family and my mom in her own “bedroom”. Pool was nice. Staff at check in were very nice. Only downfall, no free breakfast but there is a restaurant.

The sweet young girl at the desk is always super nice. We love staying there. Last time we were there the TV did not work. We were told we could move but at that point we were settled in. This past Friday night we were in room 324 and there were a couple of rooms next to us. They got there about 1 am and slammed doors until 330am. They were so loud and knocking hard on the doors. We got no sleep at all. And had to travel back to NC. We probably will try one more time but that will be it. It makes us sad because we really like it there.

It had a welcoming, friendly vibe and the staff were all helpful Our shower in the room needed a more thorough cleaning, and had mold/mildew in the grout lines in the bottom part of the shower.

Loved the staff. Love the room. Everything was comfortable. Everybody was extremely friendly and the overall experience was outstanding! The bar. Don't go thinking you're going to get a drink because it is not a well stocked bar. Also, the breakfast could be a little better. With the price that you're paying. It would be nice to have a little bit more variety, but overall it served its purpose.

We have been staying here for the last few months and love it. The beds are so comfortable and the room is clean. The size of the room is perfect. Easy check in. Breakfast is really good. Location perfect. This time the TV wasn't working. Did not know that until we had already unpacked so just stayed in that room but was offered another room. Also, I have noticed there are no tissues in the rooms?

Poor Connie. She was the only worker. She is amazing. She was doing everything. Hyatt has failed her. She was pleasant and kind amidst all the craziness. I was a little put off came back from plunging toilets then serving drinks. With an unstocked bar.3 baseball teams stayed tonight. Knocking on our door at all hours. Trash was everywhere they blocked a stairwell door with luggage rack on first floor. Connie was constantly yelling at them. Rowing machine did not function in gym The beds were not level.. all of us felt our heads were way lower than our feet Pool was closed because baseball kids destroyed it. Do not stay here.
