Hyatt Place Fredericksburg at Mary Washington

Connie at the front desk is always welcoming and helpful. Reservation agent could not find my discount code. Calls direct to Hyatt Place went unanswered.cost us quite a bit extra this trip, but we had someone in the hospital and had to book it.

Staff was friendly accommodated last minute booking. Did visit the lounge one night and staff was so friendly and hospitable.

Very good

Great location and great people.

Exceptional

Very nice hotel. Good location.

The room was a nice size. We did not like the used bar of soap in the shower or the dirty coffee cups/glasses that were left in the room. For a Hyatt, we expected more. The room should have been cleaner. Seemed like staff didn't care.

Exceptional

Our room was fine but not cleaned very well. Bathroom was clean but the tables next to our bed not so. Also, it felt like it was not well vacuumed. The door lock to our room worked with card key but the privacy lock on the knob did not work. I think it was broken. However the other piece that prevents the door from being opened at eye level seemed fine.

The staff was amazing! Kind, helpful, respectful! Great location, comfortable room.

It was great overnight stay

Very convenient location, clean and quiet. Several things bothered me- no toilet paper holder, frayed carpet, toilet was difficult to flush, only decaf coffee in the room. Small things but irritating. Breakfast area was clean and well supplied.

The bedroom had bed bugs.

The rooms was full of order and smelled strong of dog as if it was not cleaned properly. I have stayed in many pet friendly hotels however, the strong smell with my allergies was not a mix. I reported to the front desk but no one offerred to even try a different room. A lady from the housekeeping dept. Offered additional spray but it did not help. I ended up having to check out early because I had to.visit the ER due to the massive headache it caused me from the smell and overall allergic reaction. Please.see previous statement about the strong dog order smell. It was not a pleasant smell due to my allergic reaction to the room and smell.

Very accommodating, the young lady at the front desk is very friendly and helpful

The staff was incredible. The front desk ladies went above and beyond to help me with anything and everything I needed. The room was pretty clean and the beds were comfortable. I will be staying here again.
