The Publisher, Downtown Fredericksburg, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

Clean and comfortable stay. Spacious room with king bed and coffee pods for morning. Staff friendly. Was nice to open French doors on 5th floor for fresh air. Close to restaurants and shops to walk to.

It's a beautiful hotel. The room was gorgeous and spacious. The check-in process was a little slow. It's located within walking distance to downtown Fredericksburg (shopping, tourist attractions, and restaurants). Parking is available in the lot across the street for $25 if paid through the hotel. If not, the lot has hourly rates.

Khalid, at the front desk was amazing. So helpful and friendly! Everyone here at the hotel including all front desk people, housekeeping, and the general manager were fantastic!

The hotel cancelled the reservation the day of arrival. When I tried to call AI would not let me talk with a real person. I'll never recommend the Publisher.

Overpriced! Don't forget to enjoy sharing one glass with your significant other. Apparently, you are allowed one piece of glassware per bed (even a king suite). I at least took comfort in the water pressure, knowing that I'd have I nice hot relaxing shower.. if only there'd been enough water pressure to drown a mosquito. I had no qualms about the $25 for parking in an open lot remicesant of a shady night club in D.C. Okay, I lied, that was the most ridiculous unmentioned charge that I have seen. Well, at least I had morning! A nice cup of bathroom espresso to take out on my balcony overlooking a cemetery. All would have been forgiven, but, I was taken a back that every balcony is connected, so people can just step over and all of a sudden have direct access to this Deluxe King Suite! I wasn't going to be so condescending, however, this experience calls for it.

Good halfway stop to f you are heading to NY. Would definitely stay again.

Great location, walking distance to downtown. New, clean, good metro vibe. No ice machine easily accessed.

Bed and bath were excellent. Bar and restaurant were excellent Parking was tight I thought it was slightly expensive for Fredericksburg area. I would come back time to time for weekend fun if was less expensive.
