The hotel feels cozy and charming. The location can’t be beat! The balcony looked at a wall.
-
Friendly staff and happy hour. Being near the back door, and upstairs noise at night.
-
the window treatments could be blinds instead of curtains for better light control (side window) and security on the front side

It's a beautiful historic hotel with all it's mountain charm. Couldn't have asked for better! Unfortunately, we were in a room next to one they were doing work on which was a little noisy.

Easy self checkin, location is excellent, everything in the downtown area is in walking distance. The boutique hotel vibes are amazing! I had the feeling they were hurrying is for checking out. The housekeeper tried to enter the room at 9.30 am whereas the check out time was 11 am. I was right beside the room so I could tell her to come later. I also received multiple texts from the hotel about checkout reminder.

Great location! Could walk anywhere in town. Happy hour with a free drink was especially nice. Jeanne at the front desk was very friendly & helpful. If your room is on an upper floor (ours was not) it’s a long walk!

CUTE! Needed a place to stay overnight when roads got icy and unsafe, this little gem popped up. Decor is updated and perfect for location. Comfortable, staff friendly even late at night when we arrived. Beautiful location!!!

The location of the hotel was very nice. We arrived just after 7 pm and found dirty towels as well as spots on our bedsheets. Since there is no staff around anymore at that time there was no way for us to request a change of the sheets or towels. We brought this up with the manager the next morning who apologized and assured us a discount on our stay. However, weeks later we have still not received any refund nor an answer to my message asking about said refund.

I booked a room through Booking.com that was advertised as having a small patio, but instead I was assigned a ground-level room facing a parking lot—which completely defeats the purpose of coming to this area. To their credit, the staff agreed to move me. However, the second room they gave me was a ground-floor accessible room right at the front of the building, facing the street. It felt uncomfortable and lacked privacy, as people walking by could see directly inside. The room setup (accessible features throughout) also didn’t feel appropriate for my stay. On top of that, the blinds were in poor condition and an unpleasant yellow color. I had to request a third room, and the only way to get something acceptable—with a proper view and the ability to actually open the windows—was to upgrade to a suite. This cost me an additional $180 on top of the $140 I had already paid. I asked if they could offer any flexibility on pricing given the situation and timing (same day, late afternoon), but they refused. There were also unexpected charges: $15 per night for parking, which was not clearly disclosed on Booking.com. When I raised this, they declined to remove it. Other issues: • No elevator, and no assistance or carts for luggage • No one at the front desk during checkout • The final room still had a bad smell • The sheets felt extremely rough and caused discomfort In the end, I paid close to $400 for a stay that fell far below expectations. I would not recommend this property.

Room was “compact” but well organized, not crowded and had everything I needed. Very welcoming and boutique feel to the whole place. High quality throughout, but still casual. Comfortable common areas to hang out on both the first and second floors, and also a nice outdoor space with fire table in the front courtyard. This is certainly not unique to this hotel, but generally speaking I’m always a little “miffed” when ANY hotel charges extra for parking. The room rate is not unreasonable, but it’s not cheap either. I get it, parking in Frisco is limited and therefore at a premium, and $15 wasn’t terrible, but then again, its not like I had a choice since Frisco doesn’t allow overnight street parking. Again, not unique to this property, just a common practice for an increasing number of properties that I don't agree with.

Clean, self service style with parking close by. I thought the bathroom was a little small.
