Not getting ran out of our room went to breakfast and they came and cleaned our room

There was nothing we liked about the facility. We didn’t like the property.

Breakfast was ok. The eggs and sausages were not very flavorful. No option for tea. Coffee only. Toilet didn’t fill up properly. I had to fill tank myself before flushing. Then it worked fine.

Location It smells terrible.

This is a motel, rooms exit to the outside. Our door had visible light all the way around, especially the bottom. The toilet flush was extremely loud. We didn't want to flush at night, fearing disturbing the kids. Breakfast was Simple (hot foods were not covered), All served from bar heigth counter so hard for some to access. No staff in the Breakfast room, so help would be from other guests.

Location was convenient to where I had to travel. The room was clean, everything tv ac microwave worked. The breakfast was provided and stocked. The eggs and sausage heating trays did not have lidsso the food was left out in the open for bugs or fly to get into.

The cleaness Nothing

It was a convenient location and saved a lot of $$$ rather than trying to find a place right downtown Birmingham (however, it was also a little pricey for a no-frills place). The staff was nice. Parking was sufficient. The room smelled like marijuana as soon as we arrived. While they did offer to switch us to a different room when I called to complain, we opted to just put on the fan and hope it aired out (it did), rather than go through the process of moving everything again (it was already very late when we arrived). It was also disappointing that breakfast only went until 9:00 AM — even on a weekend. And lastly, there was no coffee maker in the room, which was also disappointing. It almost seemed like there were was SUPPOSED to be (maybe?) as there were coffee cups but no machine. Overall though, it was a fine stay. Worked for what we needed. And I’d probably stay again if the price was lower than elsewhere.
