Staff was very friendly Room and facilities for the value just simply was not on par. Room smelled, AC unit was literally falling apart. Juice and coffee bar were horrible. Pool was not enjoyable as the water from literally freezing cold. Bugs and stains in the hallway carpet.

The stay was ruined when we got up to get ready to go to the hospital for a procedure and there was a live roach bug crawling along the seam of the small sofa in the room. I did tell the clerk at the front desk but he did not act surprised or interested at all in the information. Very disappointing, this was the second time in the past couple of months we had stayed at this property because of very early appointments at UAB. This review is a few days late, but the morning this happened we left the property around 4am and I had surgery later that morning. Very sad that when I addressed it with the clerk there was absolutely no response, just barely nodded his head.

Decent breakfast

Since the blinds in the room didn't work, our grands & I enjoyed a game of what/where are the people doing/going from the 24 hour shell station outside our window. Clipped nails on floor beside bed; pool doors left open allowing strangers to come in; poorly supplied breakfast; pot and cigarette smoke smell in halls and elevator; horrible staff at desk-more occupied with their phone than helping guests
