Clean rooms

The staff was friendly and responsive. Breakfast was decent. There needs to be some maintenance and upkeep, as almost every doorknob was broken. The pool was not well maintained. The beds were uncomfortable and the room we stayed in had an extremely musty smell to it. Our room was clean and the AC worked well. I would not stay here again.

Everything was good. Only complaints would be about other guest.

The room was spacious and airy, just as advertised and breakfast included all the essentials and there were fresh waffle at reasonable prices, we were very satisfied.

Room had mold and had to switch rooms. Second room had dirty floors. Pool was closed.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The lady that does the breakfast was fantastic, she was so friendly, hardworking, and helpful. Only complaint the swimming pool was pretty disgusting, the pool area needs to be addressed. I’m not sure it ever gets cleaned, other than that great breakfast, rooms, and friendly staff.

Older place, looks worn. Front panel of AC unit was in the floor when we arrived. Room had a musty odor. Side tables were very dusty. Overnight stop on a road trip.

Some type of renovations going on and store room had lots of construction materials in it. Lots of people hanging around outside. Room was fine just a little older. Ants in room. Went to front desk and they said they were booked so I couldn't switch rooms. They gave me a can of ant spray.

This property was one of my favorite properties to stay when I am in Alabama, but this visit was one of the worst. The room was ok but the bathroom was terrible. The toilet seat was broken, the tub had stains in it, and the trim strip on the wall by the tub was detaching from the wall. The bathroom did not appear clean. I was very disappointed and will probably try another hotel next time. Signed ONCE LOYAL CUSTOMER

Needs refurbished. Mold in shower. Cracked sink and tiles.

This was a good place to stay on our way back home from South Carolina. Beds were comfortable. Staff was friendly.

The equipment in the gym was not working (none of it)and the guy at the front desk had said he assembled the treadmill , but couldn’t figure out how to get it to actually work. He then pretended to write it down on a piece of paper as if he was going to do something about it later. The elliptical worked, but only if you didn’t want any resistance in your training, front desk did not know it wasn’t working either. Food was subpar at Best. The bathtub was so worn out that the porcelain was coming off the bottom of it. It felt kind of gross so I put a hand towel over it for our entire three days day. It served the purpose of allowing us to have somewhere to sleep, but it wasn’t the most enjoyable stay.

Staff was great

Upon arrival, we were told we had no reservation, then told we had already checked in. They had checked someone else into our room. Although the clerk fixed the mistake, I hope we're not paying for 2 rooms. The room appeared to be clean; however, the entire hotel had a moldy smell, and I didn't breath well all night. It was a very convenient location, right off the interstate with gas and food nearby.
