We did NOT GET BACK OUR $70 deposit for checking for damages because no one was at the front desk when I attempted to check out around 7:45 on seat 17th. Would you please return the money to our credit card since we had no damages. Thank you.

Heavy stench of marijuana throughout the building. Was charged another $100 (that was never disclosed; the gal checking us in couldn't explain why we were being charged) when I checked in for utilities (uh why?), housekeeping (which I never received. When asked, was told they do not have housekeeping staff. So why charge?), and a refundable deposit for damages (which I did receive in full.) the fire alarm went off twice, the second time was in the middle of the night. The first time, the fire department told us to find a new hotel because of the temporary homeless shelter situation (they said never stay in extended stay hotels for that reason.) The room had extensive damage. The trash dumpster and trash room on our floor was overflowing and the stench was bad. We had no other option but to stay there. Going to demand a refund. Photos DO NOT match what the property actually looks like. AWFUL. DO NOT STAY HERE. Filing a formal complaint.

The worst part of my stay was that the hotel never returned my deposit. On top of that, the room smelled strongly of cigarettes and was not properly cleaned. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and I would not recommend this hotel.

Otherwise, though the facility may have gone slightly downhill in the change from being an Extended Stay to being a Studio 6, the front desk was quite helpful, beyond a doubt. Everything in the room worked. Cleaning staff needs to be a little less hasty though!

It is conveniently located near everything. Needs to offer breakfast and have a coffees pot in each room.

I didn’t soon as I drove up - I knew it was a no go for us. . Parking is horrible 2. 2 many people running in and out who actually live there at this facility 3. Standing out front smoking in front of the building, need to have a designated area on the side or something .

I admit the room was clean, bathroom and beds. But the room did have a bad smell. And it looks like the place needs some updating. Fine for the price.

The proximity of the motel to where I was going. Multiple food options close by. Front desk staff was very helpful. The linens were all damp (humidity?). The couch was torn, TV remote was missing (staff was able to supply one). Odd smell in room, nor offensive, just odd.

The hotel room was not clean

I recently moved to Gaithersburg from another city and stayed at Studio 6 Extended Stay Gaithersburg South. I had initially planned to stay for only a few days until I could move into my new apartment, but due to some unexpected and uncertain circumstances, I ended up extending my stay for over a month. Throughout my time there, I genuinely enjoyed my stay. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always helpful. The amenities were also very convenient, especially having a kitchen in the room and access to laundry facilities, which made a huge difference during such a long stay. Studio 6 was my first home in this new city, and it made my transition to Gaithersburg much easier and more comfortable. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and am very grateful to the wonderful staff for making my stay such a positive experience!
