Fairfield Inn & Suites Gallup

We were notified at check in the elevator was out of service after we had booked and paid online we had 2 babies 2 kids and all our belongings we had to lug us 4 flights of stairs with no help we would like a refund

The only negative was the elevator not working. Everything else was convenient

The room had a potent sewer gas smell as soon as we opened the door.. It was horrible even with the bathroom door closed it was horrific! We thought someone had just used the toilet but it was not abating through the evening and it was obvious there was something wrong. We knew the hotel was very full and if we asked for another room it might be farther down the hall or worse up another flight of stairs or two. I have never stayed in a room with a horrible sewer smell. I have stayed in hundreds of hotel rooms and never had this experience. It was disgusting. Then to receive an invoice with all kinds fees just added to the experience. We probably will never stay at a Fairfield but go back to Holiday Inn Express. LA Quinta, Best Western Plus.

Hotel smelled of mold and sewage. But at least staff was nice. Canceled and got my money back.

This an older hotel that can use some updating but it was clean and the staff, especially the manager, Amanda went over and beyond to make sure that I was comfortable even when I was rather rude when I was frustrated about an issue I did not understand, she was patient and knowledgeable and got everything understandable and actually helped me comprehend the issue. I was extremely tired and she truly was very patient and kind to me. That lady is a true asset👍

The bed was comfortable The elevator was broken so I had to climb 3 flights of stairs, the pool was closed,

Bed and pillows were in rough shape. Elevator, AC, and TV were broken. Bathroom was not clean.

Our room was on the 4th floor, however the elevator was inoperable. It was difficult to climb the stairs for my husband. The hot tub was not working, which was a huge disappointment also. I will call ahead next time to ensure that everything is in working order. Not quite the stay we were expecting.

This hotel worst place I've ever stayed. The staff was bad very unfriendly. The elevator was broken being disabled with a heart condition and having to climb three flights of stairs. The rooms were not taken care of shower hand bar broken I could go on

Our room was on the 2nd floor. There isn't an elevator so i was forced to walk up the stairs with an oxygen tank. Not very pleasant. It's difficult to cln stairs when you're disabled

Very clean and a perfect stop over hotel as we made our way across the state.

Staff was friendly upon check in and throughout the visit. Elevator was out during our stay so going up and down 3 flights of stairs wasn’t ideal lol parking was decent. The hotel is located next to a Maverick and is a local meeting spot in the evening to very early hours for cars, trucks, specialty rides that go up and down Route 66. Trust me if you want to sleep either take noise cancelling head phones or try another place. The hotel is amazing just the noise was too much.
