The hotel was good! Breakfast was delicious

I absolutely enjoy this property. It is one of my favorite places to stay in Galveston. It is close to beach and it is also far enough away from the main crowds.

Location was best out of everything No bath tub, only stand up shower in the room I was transferred to on the 3'rd try. Didn't have the correct room I reserved. There was mold in the shower and on the walls by the air conditioner vent, the air was really cold at night but would not get above 74° in the day, even with the heavy drapes pulled shut. Housekeeper did not understand English and had to get someone who did after entering my room twice and I said "no housekeeping", I also told front desk no housekeeping due to my cat. Also there was a $75.00 non refundable pet deposit that wasn't mentioned in booking, and three years ago, my cat stayed free, I was told then pet's stay free... that's the only reason I booked there in the first place. The rooms were exceptionally smaller than they were on my stay 3 year's ago. Also was told there's a medical rate, because I was traveling for surgery, at book in, they said they do not have the medical rate discount. So for just shy of $900 for 3 nights would have been better at a newer hotel that actually faces the beach, not a side street.

Our stay was very nice and the hotel was a good value.

I can only say good things about this hotel. It was very clean and the rooms were large and fully stocked.

The property was immaculate and the staff made our stay very pleasant. The breakfast buffet was very good and provided more options than we’ve seen.

Breakfast was good, but very slow to refill the food. Overall fire, and service was nice.

Great location and good room The only issue I had was the AC in my room did not work. I had a balcony room and so I called down to the front desk to tell them that my AC wasnt working. They said to make sure the balcony door was locked. I double checked and the door was closed and locked but the AC still would not go down below 69 degrees. I called again and asked if they could send someone up to fix it, and they said there is only one person on staff at night so they could not do anything about it. Fortunately I was tired after a long day of work so I was still able to sleep.

Location, clean, with patios.. The bathroom door make noise when open and close, I request to put some oil in the joint thats what I do to my doors,just asking.

We had the jr king suit with balcony. Bed was great. Clean hotel. Free breakfast was good. The usual eggs , waffles, cereal etc. pool was nice . Close to the beach walking distance across the street . Would definitely recommend .
