Travelers beware! There were plenty of options in the area and usually Best western is a safe clean option. Not this time. Booked through third party. Received a message around 7pm from the property saying the pool and spa were not available. Fine, we were going to be a late arrival anyway, nothing about a broken elevator. Two staff members were on far end of lobby chatting. Took a while for them to come to the desk despite seeing us walk in. Was told the elevator was not working and room was on the third floor. Said there was nothing they could do about it. The stairwell was poorly lit and extremely hot. One in our party became ill from the heat. Elevator was still not working the next morning and stairwell remained hot. Had to request a call from the manager twice to get a response. Initially was told she was too busy to talk to me. When she finally called she apologized for the elevator being down and called it a “minor inconvenience”. I explained this was not a minor inconvenience, it was a safety issue. Explained that the hotel should have reached out to tell us about the issue or offer to cancel the reservation but was told the hotel can’t contact people that book through hotels.com despite receiving a message from the property the previous evening. Horrible, no accountability. The hygiene items in room were lemon scented which is ironic as this place is a lemon. Ample opportunity was given for concerns to be addressed before posting this review. They truly don’t care.

Besides this huge disappointment for my kids and me, the hotel was good and the staff was pleasant!

Hotel and our rooms were very clean and spacious. Beds were comfortable. Their pool was not working, but the hotel offered to reimburse us for the water park which was great! Friendly staff. The only downside is that the breakfast was not that great and food quality could have been better. Otherwise we had a great stay.

For the second year in a row we booked a room here and showed up to find out the pool is out of service. The receptionist claimed that several hotels in the area were having the same issue. The next hotel we called had a great pool. We will NEVER book this hotel again.

I was disappointed that the hot tub and pool were closed and they didn’t tell me until it after I could not cancel the reservation. That was the only reason I chose that hotel, maybe update about the pool and hot tub not working before we approve the reservation. Also it was 9am and I woke up to housekeeping knocking at door, Instead of knocking check who had already checked out.

My husband and I quit using Best Western Plus due to some of the issues we've encountered in the past. We thought we would give this one a try while on our way back from vacation and I am so glad we did. Loved every aspect of our stay. Check in was great and the stay was super comfortable. This hotel gives me hope for Best Western Plus hotels now. Thank you.

The pool was closed for renovations which was one main reason we booked this hotel. Staff said it was mentioned in the hotel details.. maybe it was overlooked, maybe it was in the fine print, but we missed it and had sad kids. Water park made up for it!

The property is a nice and well maintained hotel. It is going through a remodel right now that caused a few issues but once it is completed it will be a great addition.

VERY CLEAN AND SMELLS SO GOOD! The staff is friendly and helpful! Would like to see an outside patio sometime soon! They were working on the pool during our stay so maybe they can add a patio to the east side!
