Terrible. Keep driving. The pictures online are at least 5 years old and there has been considerable more wear and tear than the images show. The room was dirty when we arrived (dried pee on the toilet seat). There are remnants of a flooded bathroom (paint peeling off the bottom of the door about 2 inches up from the floor). There is an awful smell that seems to come from the carpets (all the carpets -- hallway carpet, room carpet, carpet around the pool, etc.). The worst part is you are paying premium prices for this hotel. We stayed here with kids and were attracted by the "on pool" room. This just means that you have a sliding glass door that opens into the hallway of the "convention center." The pool is in this hallway and there is a door that is open to the public most of the day/evening, so absolutely anyone can walk into the pool access from the parking lot. Someone was sleeping on the couch in the hallway most of the afternoon/evening that we were there -- shoes off, to go food on the table nearby. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Friendly staff. cleanliness Only had 1 elevator toward front of building. Was on 2nd floor at opposite end of building due to needing pet friendly room, which made if difficult because spouse uses oxygen and with current heat made it difficult for him.

Thank you to the wonderful stuff we woke up a little bit late and I asked to have a late check out and they were so nice and understanding and give us extra 30 minutes, thanks to the Clairon Inn, hope to come back soon again.

Me and my wife loved having access to a hot tub and pool. The only thing I wish we had was more choice than eggs and sausages or biscuits and gravy for main hot items on buffet.

Stay was great. Breakfast buffet was good. The only down fall was the hot tub was only warm

The Front Desk staff at Clarion was exceptional! Very friendly and knowledgeable. I found the property to be clean and well maintain for the price point. Will definitely be staying there again!

The facility was very nice and clean. The bed was very comfortable. We will stay here again for sure.

Stayed for an overnight passing through Garden City. The staff was very friendly and the hotel is clean and well-maintained, clean and has plenty of parking. The area around the hotel has a lot of shopping and dining options. The room was large and clean and the bed was comfortable. My biggest issues were that I had an inside room facing the pool which I didn't care for, the AC unit was barely adequate and being a central system, sometimes it smelled like a raw sewage smell was coming from it. Also, the hotel clearly mentioned a made-to-order breakfast on the website, but rest assured, it's not made-to-order. It was setup in the onsite restaurant but was the standard typical hotel fare you'll find anywhere else. That was a huge disappointment because it was false advertising.

Nice place to stay in Garden city. A bit outdated but clean

The hot tub was down and never filled up, it was cold water. When we mentioned something to the front desk, nothing was done really. They said it would turn warm and fill up, however it never did.

Cold breakfast and colder shower. It took 10 to 15 minutes to get hot water to the tub and that was after figuring out that the Hot and Cold sides were not hooked up correctly. Just put label on the HOT side and maybe a note about the delay.

Thanks to the stuff I, I forgot my sweater and they were very nice to call me, so I went back to get it, thankfully I was still in town when they called me.

Location Room is outdated, ceiling tiles need attention!
